Awwww that's sad yeah I actually saved my cat from a friends dog that was about to kill it and still have him to this day he mostly sleeps all day but hey at least I didn't have to pay like $250 buck for a cat. Kinda also the same thing with my dog he was beaten and put in a refuge the owner broke his 2 of his ribs and he had scars all over him and he's such a loving dog and just wants affection and it's a boxer :( but no he's healthy and such a beautiful dog now:)

Darth Magus Ya she was a good dog, almost though she was a opossum at first, she had that grayish coloring of one. Come to think of it, most of my dogs more or less found me, Scruffy, a mid-size Jack Russell mix was the same way, poor boy wandered into the yard and pretty much claimed me. Lived with me for a year and a half before he got sick and passed away. Good dog as well, but he had been badly abused, he was skittish if you raised your hand and walked with a bad limp on his left hind leg. That's nice, no idea why people would beat a dog that bad to break it's ribs like that I am glad to hear he's healthy though. Boxer's are really pretty dogs. I've no idea why they would just do what they did with my sister's dog, a I think Shih Tzus, but not to sure, I know it's a show dog though. Just gave her away cause she isn't worth money do to a foot deformity from inbreeding.

Dinky-Di it's better to get a mutt rather than a purebred because they have less health issues than purebreds because most purebreds out there are inbred. Yes, there are certain doggo traits, features, looks, and breeds we don't want to get changed or slowly fade away but what you said is true. If we keep this up, we may as well have no dogs at all.

Erza Scarlet Artificial Selection is the sole tool of a breeder. They are not two separate things, one is used to facilitate the other. And this kid is not entirely wrong, as some breeds of dogs have been proven to suffer health problems due to the way they have been bred. It's also strange how you oppose breeding being bad for dogs and it being used to make wolves into tiny dogs, when the latter is an example of the former.
