Everyone feels that way about the music they grew up with. When I was a kid in the 80s, older people told us that the 60s had much better music, and how the synth and the drum machine was the death knell of good music. So here we are, 40 years later... telling our kids how the music in the 80s was so much better. In my opinion, it was good until about 97 ish... :-)

@@plonkster I think you're right but today it's really different man. Listen to the Lyrics of today's Music, its either Lelelel or some other nonsense or its completely sexual. In the beginning of the 2000s,the Music was still good, the turn came around 2008-2010 I would say. And now it turns worser any year.

I discovered this song about a month ago. Had been listening to it non stop in the mornings. The other week I was out at a party, managed to make it to 9am which is super rare for me. For some reason I just couldn't get this song out of my head while dancing. So I turn to my gf and say "what if they played that song right now?" A few minutes later I swear I hear this beat creeping in. I tell my gf and she thinks I'm crazy. Then the DJ puts the track on, no edits, to close out the set. Delirious, drenched in sweat, vibing my heart out. Honestly made it into top 10 magical moments in my life.

This song was jammin’ at every party back in the mid 90s. Wish you were there to experience it. I’m 42 now.

Os olhos enchem de lágrimas quando escuto essas músicas. É uma nostalgia tremenda. Só sabe e entende os jovens que viveram essa época. Acho que se tivesse uma máquina do tempo e pegassem esses jovens de hoje e colocassem eles nos tempos dos anos 80/90 eles iriam ficar maluquinhos ao perceberem como era mais simples e mais amoroso viver nos anos 80/90, amigos de verdade, brinquedos e brincadeiras de verdade, paqueras sadias, filmes marcantes e suas trilhas sonoras, novelas sensacionais (a viagem, mulheres de areia...)que pena tudo acabou. Pare o mundo que eu quero descer....

I was born in 1975 ... right in the disco music era. I had the chance to grow up in the first best music era ... the 80's. Growing up, I was so lucky to be a teenager in the second best music era ... the 90's. I consider myself fortunate to grow up in those amazing music eras. I'm 46 now and today's music doesn't do anything to me so I STILL listen to the 70's, 80's and 90's. Those years were the best years of my life 😍😍😍

Typical, the Dutch's always thinks they inventing the wheel time after time. 2 unlimited paved the way for Eurodance. The music was made by 2 Belgians producers and the lyrics sang by 2 Dutch people.

HOLY SHIEEEEET!!! i fuckiiiiing found iiiiiiiiittttt!!!! ...i have been searching for this song for over 22 years, from going through tons of trance compilations in friends houses as an 11 year old to trying to find in on youtube every now and again later in life. always gave up filing it under Haddaway - What Is Love but something in me always knew i wasnt looking for the haddaway track, there was another with a much more punchier sample out there. now, here listenting to 0:28 i KNOW i finally fucking found it!! its like a religious experience, i have not heard this sample in over two decades and only as a little kid, yet it is so fresh, so close to my heart, so familiar. its like a 22 year old knot in my soul has finally been released. WTF

I have ALWAYS known what this song is. It's 2 Brother's most famous song. You could have just Googled the lyrics lol. There's FAR harder tracks to discover what they are than this one. In the grand scheme of things to me, this is a well known classic. ;-)

Eurodance was the music style of my youth. My friends and me listed to is everywhere, always, besides rave music. Such great times. I wish that I had the self-confidence of 2020, would mix it with the Zeitgeist of the 90s - just perfect!
