Great video mate, I’m a junior and I just finished my first quarter and I’m trying to narrow down what I actually want to do after college. I know one thing for sure is I don’t want to work 80-100 work weeks as an investment banking analyst kissing ass all over the work place. Being a financial analyst seems ideal for a few years and I eventually want to start my own business.

Hi, just found your video. Very informative... majority of the financial analyst positions I am coming across are requiring previous experience. I have a couple internships but they were not focused on financial analysis (financial planning, risk management, and banking internships). I am graduating in 6 months and am trying to overcome this obstacle of needing financial analysis experience.

I'm an international student whose oral English isn't so fluent.(I can understand your video without captions but my speaking really sucks..) I'm really interested in data-based decision making process and really wanna be a financial analyst in my beginning working stage(my major is managerial economics and minor in accounting and sta), but my communication ability limits a lot. I now plan to learn to be a data analyst so I minor in sta. How is the fluency required to be a data analyst? ...really sad about my oral speaking and my weird expression ways:/

@@ChaceBonanno Well its been a long 6 month lol. my college didn't let me graduate in December and had me take another class before I could officially graduate because I didn't mean the major gpa requirement. last month, I got a job at one of the big banks in America working on the consumer banking side ,which is a lot less competitive but the experience is a lot of value for my resume since this is my first real finance related job, while I finish this last class and I am set to graduate in 2 weeks for sure now. I am getting banking experience now from this job even though it only requires a high school diploma. I plan on getting a more lucrative job in finance at the end of this year with this experience and my college degree. Jobs are def out there and if you're just starting your career out of college and don't have an internship, I'd suggest getting any job some what related in what you wanna do that also looks good on your resume for your next job. and F*&^ unpaid internships, I think they're extremely unfair for us young people just coming out into the world
