Holt is so likeable. Hasn't got a ton of at bats this year but he's just quietly kept working and now he's getting hot at a good time. Nice to see.

Game just ended, damn. Undefeated in midweek, the depth of this pitching staff is incredible, and can make or break you in a regional. Big series this weekend, WPS

@@danieloutlaw2585Smith, Tygart and Gaeckle are the only consistent pitchers. I feel like we are primed for disappointment. Hopefully it’s just my PTSD talking.

​@@richardbaker_0086our pitching staff is better than it has ever been. Our bullpen is deep, and this is the first year DVH could name 3 starters for the weekend. Arkansas has a better era, and less runs given up in the conference.

You are right, Kentucky has this weekend circled on its calendar. We need to play better than we did at Alabama.

We are starting to give up more and more runs. Hope the bats can be a little more consistent with runners in scoring position to cover the pitching woes. Not sure what to think about these last three series, with only one at home. Who would have thought finishing out the regular season running a gauntlet. I'll take 6-3 right now. Just stay healthy, no injuries. Go Hog's!!!

Definitely, a tough schedule to finish out the regular season. With the pitching and hitting the way it is, a 6-3 finish for the last 9 conference games sounds good.

We need Diggs, Aloy, and Souza’a bats, if we’re gonna compete with Kentucky or A&M.

Aloy is raking and he has been for weeks. Souza's probably not going to start, at least not all 3 games. Most importantly weekend pitching. Don't get so caught up in offense, we can win the 1-0 games, the 2-1 games etc.

@@jayr.3720 I hope we can come back to this thread after the weekend series with Kentucky, so you can tell me I told you so. I would love that! But 1 run could definitely win a game against anyone in the country when Hagen Smith goes deep and Gackle closes. But we only have one Smith and Gackle. Even with Tygart and Molina at their very best, 1 run isn’t going to beat Kentucky or A&M on Saturday and Sunday. We have to have run support and we just haven’t gotten it all season.
