This is my personal favourite song from the season and I dont know why people are not loving it more. I feel you have to have had enough life experience to appreciate this song.

The higher octave was because the director wanted the Optimist to outweigh the Pessimist . For those who do not understand urdu , there was a writing above the book shop "dukaan baraye firokht" means " The shop is for sale " this reflects that Uncle is bidding farewell to his life long sweet books collection , means the Young Generation (India and Pakistan) gave up on books. This frame was the most hard hitting one . In terms of Cinematography , the Light Cast over the flute player was the most impactful (giving a sad and a lonely place standing under the moon ) and the tone and texture of the flute was the most beautiful one in terms of Soundscapes.

star shah is an amazing all round performer, pakkay sur wala rapper hai, I consider him the most sureela rapper in DHH today. he could give competition to any actual singer any day of the week, but he chooses to be a rapper because he loves rap and hip hop in general check out his song Okara wala

Also, more than optimistic vs pessimistic its about a guy who was positive about love and now hes so heartbroken that he’s putting hard hitting facts on why love is not love anymore. So he’s not a pessimist. Than comes zeeshan. His focus and high pitch response is because he’s trying to convince this lost soul star shah that what else is love? There’s love thats why all these things happen every positive has its negative so thats why he’s stressing that in such a powerful high pitch singing because he’s convincing him. Well said! While the dichotomy of love is a concept that's been explored in Bollywood before but this song is about more than that superficial relationship wala Pyar. I mean relationship wala Pyaar is also a part of it but Star Shah is more lamenting the state of the world and humanity and talking about how we've become selfish and out to get each other at all times. While on the other hand, what Zeeshan is saying that despite all the horrible things happening in our society, we cannot deny that love does exist. We just have to look around us to see it. Whether it's between a couple or the love between parents and children or the love you have for your pet etc., it's everywhere. And that love is pure and genuine and we should not deny that. So while those songs are good examples of similar concepts, this song runs much deeper than them!

Xulfi came into this way after, its Rohails idea and he's the one who took this to his friend who was coca cola country manager for Pakistan. How can you even deny this fact. Yes, Xulfi has done a tremendous job for season 14 when he's been delegated this project.

Coke Studio is fine. I think they’ve just added the Pakistan to differentiate themselves from the other iterations since other countries have now come forward with their own platforms and international audiences have been exposed to all of them. To me it’ll always be Coke Studio and that’s how the platform is referring to itself at the start of all the videos and on all the social media platforms.

Coke studio was first started in pakistan by Pakistani musicians it's the people who contributed to make coke studio pakistan what it is right now, platform is nothing but rohail hayyat made it !! They have come along way so you can't just say it's just the coke studio !!
