I’m guessing you’re in a borough other than Manhattan. Good choice. Safe, quiet and a very spacious apartment. And “the city” is about a 30-45 mins commute from most areas, you really can’t go wrong. Hi! We are actually in Manhattan. Got really lucky with finding this place. Just not disclosing the area :) everyone tells us that they can’t believe we found this deal in our area. it’s a older building so that’s why it’s so spacious too.

You can ask the Landlord for a new fridge

And that remind me of why I am glad I don't live in NYC. Here in Phoenix I pay less than that for my own condo in a good part of the suburb AND that's the price I paid after the RE prices went up during the pandemic. Definitely feel blessed here.

i dont know where you ended up but just so you know new york city is manhattan, bronx, brooklyn, queens and staten island. each borough has its thing and since this is a walking city you may choose to work in the same borough that you live in. you will get acclimated soon enough. Bienvenida a la ciudad de nueva york.

Woow you really found the best apartment in the end, congrats. good luck. enjoy. I know New York is a really special city after all even though it has the most disgusting subways and stations and some area of city is scary,lots of homeless people, crime but yeah it is one and only New York(and one of the most expensive apartments in the world ).Total exaggeration of prices bec of name city But to me it is only interesting as a tourist to come, But I would never live there .....for me Europe gives a much more pleasant and better quality of life. But yeah I will be back one day again there for traveling.....It's New York after all

You you're paying $2000 a month. You have to clean the apartment that you're renting and replace the appliance. Are you the landlord or the tenant?
