It’s rare but Horseshoe poker room actually does not allow chopping. SB & BB has to play headsup.

Actually, betting 1/3rd on a flush turn card as preflop aggressor is the meta now. With bluffs, thin value and nutted value. I pretty much set the trend starting a few years back, no one was doing it, not even solvers. Now I see this year that is the solver approved line. It allows us to bet thinner on the turn and to bluff more runouts on the river for better prices, obviously very spot dependent, it comes with experience to know when is the best time to triple off here with bluffs. But yea I can safely say the meta on the turn is now 1/3rd or check on flush cards as the preflop aggressor and as defender we are using mostly polar sizes. (IE: You flat button vs UTG raise). Rivers play as check/betsmall/bigbet/150%/250% provided they play in flow. Source: I have one of the highest win rates on PA stars 200nl.

In the kj vs aces hand massive fumbled . The limp re raise is usually aces already but when they start using 1$ chips it’s a value bet

In the So Cal games I play in, the limp-reraise is always a premium.

I think you need to beef up your pre flop sizing. Making it 12 over multiple limps is just too small. River bet when u make the nuts with AJ should be polarized over bet to look bluffy or way smaller to get called very thin. Plus a smaller river bet could induce people to spazz every once in a while. Win win. Just discovered your vlog and I like intro and graphics good luck on the grind.

on your hand with the aces, i disagree with you. i like the bet. if u shove, it is almost never a bluff. so having said that, if i am him, you are saying that u can beat a queen. there are four hands here that beat me. i can lay down this boat as it is not the nut boat. thus, u would have actually lost value for your hand! u can not assume that your opponent will auto call just because he has a strong hand. so if he thinks u already have one of these hands then i would bet to get something which is better than nothing. i have laid down pocket kings twice in my life preflop and have been correct each time. i also have laid down a set of eights on the flop on a k-8-6 rainbow board and was also correct. so unless your opponent is a calling station, whose wealthy, and who never folds, i think your bet was correct.
