@@blankface9363 robtop has only been bugfixing and *setting things up* for a while (he said this in the discord) and it seems he was pretty confident about releasing it before google play was *supposed* to remove GD from the app store (although they removed it early)

I think we can expect music composers (or just people who want NoNG music in their levels) make music in levels using SFX triggers from 2.2 😳

If you think about it for a moment, the SFX trigger slightly fixes the copyright problem with the music in GD, since now there will be sounds over the song. It's not a full fix, but it helps

The good ones won't. This is the exact same thing that happened when 2.0 released and everyone was afraid of move trigger abuse. People like this game, they're not gonna create levels that are bad, they're gonna create ones that use the features to enhance the fun of the level

Watching her trying to examine certain objects in the update is funny because a few of the things she commented on we currently have in 2.1. Also most the moving objects in this sneak peek we’re probably done with keyframes and particle effects.

Even though updates are so far apart it’s really cool how RobTop is so involved with the community. He doesn’t just feel like a corporation, just a guy making a game he loves.

FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) will likely allow sounds to be sped up and down without changing the pitch and vise versa. This is the method KZread uses for playback speed on the audio to make it slow or fast without changing the pitch.

I said it twice already AND I'LL SAY IT AGAIN! This final sneak peek (& PEAK) has sold it for me! This update is going to single-handedly change the GD landscape THE most relative to every other update either alone or combined. We have a generation of new players/creators on the horizon. The drip is probably a particle from the particle trigger, just only 1 and moving in a straight line.

I love the song choice of #8 Regret from Splatoon 2 at 8:50, it’s such a vibe. Nice analysis too, I’m so excited for this update.

idk if that line is super popular or something but raze in valorant says "fire in the hole" as well and i find that so funny

im actually shaking. when she said that the sneak peek was one of the final steps into releasing 2.2, i realized how close we really are to having such an insane update. I'm really scared for how the levels are going to turn out once 2.2 is released, but i guess that's just part of the thrill of this update.

I know this is a small detail by I just fricken love how you put Splatoon music in the background. I play Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3 and the music is awesome and I just so love how you put it in your videos.

I was 9 when 2.1 released and 10 when 2.11 released. I'm 15 now and I turn 16 in 5 months, it's been more than 6 years since anything major happened, I am honestly so excited for 2.2 :)
