The global game is now too big for small stadia. Theres too many people with too much money willing to pay for these tickets. The average man and woman are just getting totally priced out. Unfortunately theres not much we can do about it. For a World Cup final, you probably have at least 500k people willing to pay at least 500e for a match ticket, in a stadium that probably only holds 70k people. Supply vs Demand n all that

Multi tiered pricing is nothing unusual. If you want a comfortable seat on the half way line put your hand in your pocket. Why does a top product have to be this expensive. We should be able to expect top football and it not cost a salary. But the amount of money that we pay goes to players salaries not availability and product building. So they charge even money. They need to redistribute the money available not charge more

€90 for the final of a huge sporting event that comes around once very 4 years is honestly not bad. Nobody is asking you to pay €2k for the best seats in the house, some people will pay that for exclusive seats and that’s fine. A first class to New York will cost around £3k, some people way pay that. Those that can’t choose to forgo certain luxuries in economy and spend like £500. Don’t really see an issue here

I think that the basic principle that Saudi Arabia established is to inspire governments in leagues outside Europe. The budget that any country can use in developing its league is very small from its general budget. Imagine, for example, that the Brazilian government puts 3-4 billion, and Argentina, Mexico, and other leagues close to this amount in purchasing players. And infrastructure development? I think during 3-5 there will be no coverage of the European League, in addition to the economic crisis that Europe is going through and the rise in inflation, which consequently increases taxes, and thus investors flee to other leagues. I think you will cry a lot in Europe

You can’t hammer football with messages of ‘respect’ and gestures on and off the pitch , and not be critical of this. Anyone who watches live football will know about the sectarianism that fuels this. Perhaps home nations games should ditch the national anthem for other anthems, giving all fans a voice. Everybody love Celtic v United games at Ild Trafford but they were uncomfortable and raw in a way we ( apparently) no longer want in football , in life.

There’s no reason for UEFA to reduce the price unless people stop buying the tickets. The reality is that they could charge 4k and people would still pay it! It’s very sad that UEFA aren’t on the side of the fans! The people that buy these elite seats will be people their for status, not because they’re diehard, travel anywhere, week-in week-out fans!
