1v1 Swimbait Challenge - Keitech vs. Strike King - which is better?

Ойын-сауық

Doing my first 1v1 lure challenge. In this video I fished only the Keitech Fat Swing Impact swimbait and the Strike King Rage Swimmer swimbaits. Both were fished on 10lb line, 1/4oz swimbait jigheads and in the same places. Find out which one came out on top and why! The winner may surprise you (or not)!

Yeah they seem to perform about the same but the rage swimmer is cheaper and lasts longer. I prefer the color and size options of the Keitech. Thanks for the video.

Hey man nice video! Looking to get into swimbaits n stuff. What is a good all around size. I want to catch bigger fish but i dont want the swimbait to be too big to the point where barley any fish other than the biggest one can get it. I was thinking like the 3.8 (for keitech) / the 3.75 (rage swimmer size). Is that good? Or should i downsize to a 3.3 (kitech size) / 3.25 (rage swimwmer size), or upsize to the 4.3 (keitech size) /4.25 (rage swimmer size). Thanks for the great tips and keep up the videos!

Those are very good ideas. I think that the 3-4" sizes mimic most baitfish. I think the jighead size is possibly more important. I usually use a 1/8oz jighead for a slow fall and a 1/4oz when the fish want it faster or deeper

Once you find the pattern it’s game time. I’ve always had confidence in Keitech so honestly haven’t tried any other

The ONLY reason the Strike King won was because of cost, .25 cents cheaper per bait

I used Keitech for a long time, but the Strike Kings are better because they have identical action, and are significantly more durable than the Keitechs. I switched a few weeks ago, but it became very apparent last weekend why I switched. I had some Keitechs in my hip pack while wading the family pond and those things fell apart on every single strike, whether I caught a fish or not. I was using Owner Flashy Swimmer terminal tackle (belly weighted underpin w/ lock spring). I started out with an old Rage Swimmer that had already caught 4-5 fish previously, then it caught 4-5 more that day while missing 3. The last catch destroyed it, so I switched to all I had in my bag which was a pack of Keitech’s. I went through every single Keitech in that pack, caught 4 fish and missed 2. I’m a firm believer in the Rage Swimmers.

@@user-ro2qk5sv6g they do not have the same action. Keitech and senkos are superior hands down and get bit more. Which is why these companies try to rip them off.
