Nice looking razor, any feather blade I use I’ve always corked it before first use, takes away the rough edge on the first pass and usage. Cheers🍻🥃

Great shave. I pulled out the Proraso Green just for a European shave the other day. It was nice to go back to basics and to my roots, and it felt like being back to my early humble beginnings of when I used the Proraso Green soap all the time before transitioning to better soaps. Have a good one.

Great shave Ken and thanks for the shout out. Proraso green is my all time favorite. I have Proraso Blue shave cream in a tube. It does not come in a hard puck like the others do though. I also have the Proraso blue Pre & Post shave cream. Proraso blue is extremely slick and very soothing to sensitive skin. It's Aloe Vera & Vitamin E and has a clean fresh scent to it. The Pre & Post cream is epic and is also extremely slick. I think you would definitely enjoy it for sure especially after a trip to the Dematologist.

Welcome home. An informative review as always. I'm just not a fan of safety razors that require proprietary blades. Especially blades as expensive as those. But if one spends that much for a safety razor, the price of the blades is probably moot 😉

To keep my DE blades in good shape I take it out of the razor and rinse it. Then I blot it dry gently on both sides with a soft micro fibre cloth. Then I store the blade in a slot on the back of the tuck.

I've had my '22 Santa Cruz since Aug of 2021 - I love it - it's perfect for trips to the warehouse club or home improvement store - and one of the best parts is that it will fit in the garage easily and comes with a ton of "tech" and they're still not all that common on the road. I get about 27MPG all around.

This video made me remember just how much I love using Proraso pre-shave. Don’t know how it does what it does. It keeps the blade from chattering and helps keep the blade in contact with the skin while also providing really good glide. Proraso always help give excellent shaves….Going to pull it out tonight.😂😂

Great shave. Ive been wanting a single blade razor. There are are so many out there.. and your choice of soap an after shave. Imo one of the best out there. Especially in the hot weather, its my go to for work day shaves.

Nice!!! How would you compare the shave of the OneBlade Genesis, OneBlade Hybrid, and OneBlade Element? I love the OneBlade razors, I just wish they would listen to shaving enthusiasts and customers and give us a blade option that’s competitive. The FHS-10 costs significantly more than alternatives for a 1-2 shave blade.

I just bought a great brush. It’s a 26 mm G5C knot from AP Shave Co. based in Ottawa, Canada. It feels incredible on the face and lathers a treat. I bought it with a cheap “scratch and dent” handle as I don’t display my brushes; I just great performance.

I’ve used the Red Proraso cream. It gave my face a rash. The White Proraso shave soap in the tub doesn’t give me a rash.

Kent they do have a blue proraso shaveing soap it's aloe and vitamin e and the white one comes in different scenes greet tea and oatmeal and they also have sandalwood u gotta try the other sents! they come in soap cream and fome

Hey Ken! If you own a vintage Valet Autostrop razor, those blades will accommodate any model! I would love to see you reveiw one of those! I just bought the base model OneBlade. I want to see how it performs before progressing to the higher cost versions. Thanks for the video! JimG

Nicely done Ken🪒🪒 Close but no issues gave a mediocre burn, pass! Sweet razor, I have the original Asylum RX artist blade razor, way aggressive but will give a one pass killer shave. Great video and results, thanks. Enjoy!

i absolutely hate One blade i bought it by mistake found out proprietary blades and here in Denmark they are expensive so when i´ve used up the blades i have i´m done in the ben not bothering selling ti. anyways great shaving video Ken as always stay safe, cheers.....Peter

Those FHS SE blade's are no way near as sharp as the Feather DE blade's, but do give a good shave with the OneBlade razor's.

@@kensurfs Didn't mean to imply that One Blade was in any trouble. Just a general observation that small manufacturers of items with limited appeal can run out of steam after a few years. Then the guarantee disappears.
