You gotta pick the right machine at the right time . I've lost more $$$ at the casinos than I have gained and feel skeptical about putting a high amount in a machine that may or may not pay off. Not sure if I have to change my strategy or lady luck is not on my side

650Giantsfan You can't make a living playing slots trying to make money , there is no strategy that can you can profit from . The house over time will always take more than it gives out . None of these slot channels make money playing slots , it's for entertainment. If they make money it's from things they sell online or patreon membership . My advice is go with money you don't care about losing . I go to the casino less than once per year , back in the day the slots were looser and the comps were better . I enjoyed going to AC on the bus for 35 bucks and they gave you that back in food and comp dollars . Things changed they tightened things up and the jackpots you just didn't hear as much anymore so I stopped going plus the tax laws are pretty bad .....you could loose 5,000 on a machine then hit a 1,200 jackpot and now your paying taxes on the 1,200 . I debated the IRS on the win loss statement and they said their not in the gambling business so even though I broke even on the year I still had to pay taxes ....I stopped going in the 80's and now go maybe once a year with a set amount and enjoy the buffet . I play it all especially poker :) and you have to be smart with slots too or you’ll lose what you win and there is some strategy to it but what do I know? 💁🏻‍♂️

By lucky I mean you are at the right place at the right time but at the same time we'll informed just like you do when playing poker( knowing your opponents strengths and weaknesses, reading the cards properly and basically knowing the statistics. However the underlying factor still is luck) The more a person is informed about a machine you can increase the odds to your favor by a few % points. To be a good slotter you need to have the basic math skills to calculate: 1.The RTP % of the machine 2. The HF% of the machine. You need also to know the different slot manufacturer and type of slot machines manufacturers. Then you need to do some background research: 1. Is the game an E series ( not for serious gambler's) 2. Volatility level High ( for serious gamblers) Medium or Low (just to pass the time away) 3. Before playing study the Pay Out charts and bonus feature (if any). Are Pay Out lines high for 5 of a kind top symbol.! Is there a bait and switch during the bonus? If you play the slots for the Progressives especially the Grand Jackpot: remember that it hits anywhere between 50-100 million spins( depending on manufacturer. The above are just a few of the things to look for. If you do your homework it will increase the odds in your favor.
