1st Ride out after lockdown A537 Cat and Fiddle inc Winnats Pass, Bakewell, Goyt Valley and Drone.

In this episode I venture out for the first time since the easing of lock down from Covid 19 (Corona virus).
Taking the opportunity to take out the Panasonic x900 video camera with the DSLR Canon 5D Mk iii plus the Mavic pro drone. All the gear in fact that I needed to refresh myself with. I headed for the Derbyshire Peak District.
Starting off riding through Clumber Park, Chesterfield and Two Dales I stop off at Bakewell for a spot of lunch by the river.
Continuing on through Buxton I find the A537, the Cat and Fiddle road which lives up to all expectations and shows me why it is one of the top 10 most dangerous roads in Great Britain.
Next comes Goyt Valley right through the centre of the Peak District to Mam Tor for another stop off.
After taking in the amazing views over Mam Tor I ride down Winnats Pass to Castleton then through Hathersage to a random layby for a bit of Drone footage.

That was a cracking ride out Steve. I was lucky enough to be taken over the Cat and Fiddle road on my advanced rider test, a road I know well living only 20 minutes away from it. Well done on more than 3000 subs it is well deserved, you always have quality videos which I enjoy watching and obviously I am not alone in that opinion. Ride safe.

Yet another wonderful video Steve. I'm only 20 minutes from the Cat and Fiddle, though I usually avoid it now. You seemed to enjoy it, but I think the state of the road surface is so poor these days, I give it a miss and either go to Whaley Bridge or Congleton when I find myself in Buxton. I remember how it was years ago, when it really was fun. As for the mesh jackets, you can't beat them. I bought mine a few weeks ago and they are so much more comfortable in even moderate temperatures.

Your videos were brilliant of Scotland, very helpful.I am also from North Lincs and my first stop is the Kinross Travelodge but I am using the brilliant A68 up to the Edinburgh by-pass.Then I also am going through the Cairngorms to Dingwall. Can't wait!!! Just working my way through your great videos, I was at Mam Tor last week, and Willingham Woods, as in another of your videos. I have just returned to bikes after a gap of 36 years, and loving my 900 Hornet!
