    Interesting, calcination, for myself studying across Buddhist and Christian hermeticism, seem to be the process of burning away false roots of identity, we set down the roots to define ourselves. There is debate over which procedures are actually effective in uprooting those "roots" and casting them into the fire. To give levity and allow the spirit to flow freely through that chakra. Ive always had some doubt about the pure mediation method, because i personally find mediation is great for contemplation and discovery but not so much in making the fixed volatile. I find when the psychological function of being faced by the adversity of your sense of self arises when the energy of that chakra flows, that's when the transmutation is possible.

    Ok, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that last sentence but I think I understand. Often times the self-identification (labels or identification with our possesions for example) that is burned away by the process of Calcination occurs when we are faced by an existential crisis that's triggered by the issues that come up as a result of trying to maintain such strict self-defintion. Meditation can take many forms- walking meditation, creating a piece of art, playing or listening to music...are all forms of meditation where the mind can be 'empty' because our consciousness os so absorbed in the action for a time and, essentially, refreshed just like you might refresh the window on your internet browser. I'm not talking about sitting on a mountain summit in isolation trying not to think (which doesn't work). With practice of entering what athletes call 'the zone' where mind and body are seamless on a regular basis 'monkey' mind can be quieted. That development absolutely shocked me when it occurred after following my practice because I didn't think it was possible. Calcination is a little bit more than just letting go of self-identification which has more to do with Shadow Work and the Ego. The experience can be a bit more like the archetype of the Phoenix.

    @@BridgetKorns I forgot to mention i do like your channel, Christian hermeticism describes it as burning away of the false roots. " I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit." creatively speaking there are probably several ways to achieve it. @@BridgetKorns I don't think it's possible to be perfectly calcinated, or even for any of the other alchemical processes. Life on earth would become i think fruitless if you gained too much levity, through a process of "Dignification". I think there is such a thing as having too much levity. Don't get me wrong i think a person can be thoroughly calcinated. But i don't think it's desirable or livable to be 100% calcinated. After all, isn't part of the process of the great work to experience the world as magical as you are as a being in the world.

    The entire Alchemical process is associated with self-transformstion. The undisciplined un-worked with mind is Lead. There is no more truly desirable goal then that for a Golden Mind attracts Golden Opportunities naturally and with ease. 💜

By studying the physical world we better understand our Inner world. Have you ever seen the Alchemists workshop recreation at the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum in San Jose? Kind of gives you an idea of what traditional alchemey was about. If you are just trying to work with the physical world and have no interest in the inner world...you are missing the point. So, base on the past, Alchemy and Calcination means something physical conscious is the same as natural physical that is conscious is the holder so it holds the negative and positive, but to break thru so to improve by removing the negative within, so same as natural physical which is controlled environment so there is the fire which reduces the mass within so out of mass is negative that interact with fire so negative come out and leave leftover the positive mass, so negative mass is out. So, for us, that is a thinking process, but for natural that is fire or pressure system which increase or not.

  • @BridgetKorns

    In a way but it's not really about negative and positive. The Mercury that comes out of the Roasted Cinnabar isn't 'negative'...we are trying to gather that Mercury. The Mind is often like a Rock and inflexible. Mercury is the idea state of mind that we are looking for- a flexible mind that is not fixed in a rut or pattern based on pre-existing experiences. When we experience something traumatic we tend to solidify our thoughts around the subject triggering a subconscious response when we encounter a similar situation. The Calcination removes that solid frame of mind and makes our mind more flexible. We actually accept and embrace the 'negative' or the 'shadow.' I just published a video about the Individual and the Shadow which might help.

  • @khaliffoster3777

    @@BridgetKorns Ok, between the solid frame of mind and flexible frame of mind, of one mind that is solid which it is a container, so let say a container, not solid, because solid is connect to the thought that you solidify so cause a subconscious response, so that means solid as constant thinking, or flexible as non-constant thinking, but I doubt the negative part as traumatic that person will not constantly think about that. So, it is not about thought as constant or not constant, but is about acceptance or not, so solid is not accepting and flexible is accepting the negative. But I am sure ya don't mean to accept the negative as want to do negative, so to become what you hate which you became the traumatic base on that. So, to accept in a negative way or the positive way that is in past someone dies by killing, or seeing death, or any negative, so it affects you a big way so you response in negative in a later time so you don't accept or you accept so you response positive in a later time and also you accept the negative of past which you will kill or accept seeing the death. So, the accept part is accepting the death in a positive way that is dead will not affect you like a fly that die when someone killed it or a mouse when someone killed it so you don't react negative or positive, but has zero feelings about it or in a negative way so you do the bad things that lead to death.

  • @BridgetKorns

    @BridgetKorns

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@khaliffoster3777 Great question. By working with the negative event you can extract the energy from it. You may still have feelings around the traumatic event but by processing those pent up emotions defuses the energy that was still built around the event leading to a subconscious response. When we shove anything into the shadow it becomes subconscious. So, we are bringing these things into the light (the fire) of our consciousness so we can transmute and transform them. Take for example, when my daughter died after being born premature. For a long time I couldn't even think about her without breaking down. Finally, I sat down in meditation and allowed myself to process all of the emotions that I felt. I named each of them and wrote in my journal why each feeling was justified. Just by doing that I healed myself so that now I can talk about what happened without crying or being upset. I even went on to have another child- which if I hadn't done the work necessary I might not have considered because I had such a horrible pregnancy experience.

  • @khaliffoster3777

    @khaliffoster3777

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@BridgetKorns So, your brain is an amazing thing that it is designed by memory only so the reason you cry is not that you constantly think about it so that what guilt people do, that is one way of subconscious response or guilt people think that person will not forgive me, etc, so they have withdrawn themselves, so reduce their action of positive that benefit something to another person. Another way is you didn't on purpose withdrawn yourself thru your thinking process like I feel someone killed the child so you can't get pregnant because someone might kill the child, so a pattern in your mind because of your negative thinking, will lead to negative action that is withdrawn so doesn't benefit it which you desire. But that part is not base on thinking of another person base on forgiving part or another person base on they will do something, but base on you didn't think of your process positive way which change from negative to positive, so to build up the memory around the negative so it becomes positive, so to work thru it so to experience it, well, when child dies you experience that you remember that is negative but now you can have a child because you build the positive that suppress the negative, so build up over the top of negative, so it will not break thru. Well, there is nothing positive in thinking that experience but to understand why, which you mention 'why each feeling was justified', which means why it came up? Well, logically it came up because the child die, so that makes sense, but it is not enough so you need to go deeper as why it affects you since it is in the past, so you are letting the past affect you, not on purpose, same as people that hold resent in their heart that a person hurt another person in past, so that person holds, so that person will not do positive to that person, even that person was active in part to hurt that person but not anymore, so it is more good person, but another person can't response positive to a current positive person, so on purpose negative within you so it blocks the positive, but not on purpose so it blocks the positive so you need to understand why so you can move on, so there is on purpose grudge or something, or non-purpose grudge within you. So, I guess that is why if has deep emotion about that memory, you remember better than others, but at the same time that deep memory can block new memory in the future, so it is about understanding why is the block of a new memory that can potentially exist and understand why. So, your brain is designed so you need to understand everything so to change negative into positive which you mention transmuting and transform. So, from the metal of one kind to another kind like gold, so to understand the process of how metal that is silver is a change to gold. So, true Alchemy will understand the process, like chemical and metal people understand the process. It is the same in mind.

    What is your intention? If you're attempting to quiet your mind through meditation there are a few methods you can use. The one that worked for me was whenever I had a thought simply label it as 'thinking' and visualize releasing it somehow. Maybe visualize releasing a balloon. Then return to focusing on your breath. Eventually, as you work with that method you will become aware of when your mind wanders and pull yourself back to your breath. Eventually your mind will start to quiet. I hope this helps.

Few people walk this path or try this so you're rare, so thank you because the more you do the Work on yourself the more you help the Collective. The Cinnabar is a metaphor for what you are doing with your own consciousness or mind. You're 'roasting' your mind to return the hardened aspects of your personality to fluid. In the Roasting Cinnabar meditation you're visualizing all of those times you've been triggered. If you become uncomfortable you're doing it right. As you work with these memories you'll start to recognize your mental reactionary programming. I strongly recommend getting D.W. Hauck's Alchemy Workbook but here is a quote: "You will quickly discover that the ego is a entirely reactive device designed to perpetuate the illusion of itself...we get 'burned' and silently promise never to let those things happen again. Our egos go to extreme lengths to never allow the opportunity for such things to take place again. The alchemists saw those hardened thoughts as 'metals' within us and believed they made up our temperament." So, we're identifying those 'hardened reactions' (the cinnabar) and releasing them so that our mind is more fluid (the mercury). In a way we are healing and releasing those triggers so we're not controlled by outer circumstances. I could say so much more but does this help?

    To me, because we live in a 3D/4D world on one level - We must learn to work both parts, the INTERNAL or SPIRITUAL, INVISIBLE, with the EXTERNAL, VISIBLE, DENSER aspect of ourselves. So, yes... I MEDITATE; but I've also been teaching myself the nature of ENERGY CONVERSION and TRANSFERRENCE. The FIRST PHYSICAL MANIFESTATION OF THE CONCRETE MANIFESTATION THAT WE WITNESS AS OUR EXISTENCE, seems to come from the SUN. Maybe not ALL; but most of our energy seems to come from the RADIANCE of our PHYSICAL SUN. Not only that; but I feel there are codes within the SUN's SPIRITUAL NATURE which DICTATE ALL THE DNA FOUND ON THE PLANET. If our SUN was replaced with some other manner of STAR; then our DNA would most likely be different.

    This is why I am also studying PHYSICAL, CHEMICAL, and NUCLEAR processes in General; and then more specifically to be tailored to be applied to my specific set of circumstances in life. For instance, in GREEN POWER SCIENCE, one learns that one can take a huge magnifying glass and concentrate the sun's rays to such a white hot heat, that one can melt the densest of metals and rock in a matter of moments! Part of what I want to do in life, is to procure some land, build upon it, and then design a program for people to learn the process of Manifestation. I am studying the GENERAL FRAMEWORK OF ALCHEMY, to better understand how to go forward with this dream of mine. Once you have the FRAMEWORK, you can tweak it a bit to help meet the needs of your present and ongoing circumstances. I've found that everything can be split into 3 main CONTAINERS or SETS (Mathematical Notation). Yin, Yang, Neutral. Before these came the VOID, out of which came CREATION, which split into the 3 I just mentioned. Generically speaking, you can take anything and divide it into 2 main categories. ESSENCE and FORM. Everything has Essence; yet that Essence can take the shape of many Forms. The FRAMEWORK, or STRUCTURE of something is the BARE BONES MINIMUM VARIABLES REQUIRED TO COMBINE IN VARIOUS WAYS TO GIVE US A CERTAIN FORM. Within that Form hides the Essence unique to that Form. Everything requires this blue print to exist. Thus, to understand ANYTHING to any great DEGREE, one must start with the ESSENCE and DISTILL OUT THE FORM by which that Essence will Manifest Itself Externally. When you arrive at this FORM, you have ALL THE PIECES and the WAY IN WHICH THEY FLEXIBLY RELATE TO ONE ANOTHER IN A GIVEN SPACE and TIME. Again, everything has this. For instance, BUSINESS. For any BUSSINESS TO SUCCEED, it requires a certain framework. Robert Kiyosaki refers to this as the 'Business Triangle' or the 'Business Pyramid'. If ANY of these crucial pieces are missing, or they are related in the wrong way - then the business MUST fail. Most people go into business having saved, gotten a loan, or been given a gift of capital. Currency, what we THINK of, as MONEY. But MOST FAIL because they never took the time to learn the BARE MINIMUM REQIREMENTS FOR ANY BUSINESS MODEL TO SUCCEED! I never got an MBA, or went to school for Business; but I'm pretty sure that they don't teach this. I could, of course, be wrong; but it's highly unlikely.
