I didn't play on camera this whole run. And I won. Just saying. Oscar was recording the winner's bracket tournament while my peon ass was down in the loser's bracket tournament off stream. Los and David are playing in the finals to my left as Oscar is recording this I think. This wasn't a particularly competitive run, so I don't read too much into it, but still. I played mostly good match ups, avoided frogs, most of the strong epik players weren't in this tournament, etc. If I had been on camera, I would have scrubbed out to triple airbellum double caius hands lol.

Trunade sucks in the main imo. Too many frogs, and there's a lot of random decks that play only like 6 go 8 traps and they're all chainables (amaryllis, zombie decks with Mali, stuff like that). Since deck is so set heavy you like activate trunade they pwwb or compulse your monster and then you might not have a play anymore. I feel like call is just dead a lot and slow in an already kind of slow deck. I might try it again later, but call is just dead a lot until you get either an airbellum or a synchro to grave. Cat call cat again is a pipe dream, you pretty much have to avarice to restock before that. Other problem is room. Like to keep it to 40, it's so hard to fit everything in the deck. I'm having a hard time finding room for a 3rd caius, to get call in there I'd have to drop both prisons then I worry about how small the trap line up is getting.
