Putting one on a 2016 tomorrow. For a customer who ignored warnings to do this. The novelty of it's recent purchase hadn't worn off. So it took $12K to convince him to spend $150.

I am going to install a newer turbo 2017 in my 2013 F350. Deciding about to the new pump as well. Also upping the EGR filter and the newer ccv. BTW you videios are so loaded with info. Love it.

You think ford would put something similar on these trucks from the factory knowing that the fuel pumps are going to fail at sometime causing catastrophic extremely expensive damage to the fuel system. Guess the bean counters won't allow it? 🤔

Y'all be careful with the small coolant hoses on top of the engine. When moving mine out of the way, the hose that tees off from the heater core hose snapped off.

Got to have capacity! Upgraded to that filter, upgraded to cartridge filters front to rear…

The pump failed pulling a trailer, they unhooked and had power enough to drive just the truck to ucc. I talked to them and I believe they want to drive it home. They had the filter cut a part and it was ugly. Thanks for the videos .

First mod should ve cp4 to dcr? Because it's like 2k for that kit. And the prevention kit is almost 500. The s&s dcr makes the prevention kit obsolete. Almost seems like wasted money going prevention kit.

S&S filter is great, I had a screen type filter that would rattle at 1500 RPM’s.

Most 6.7 owners never have an issue.

Just do the S&S CP4 to DCR conversion…Done.

There's shouldn't be any need for mods if anything goes wrong that's what warranty is for. We have 20k miles so far on our 22 f350.

I want to install mine but I'm a tad worried I'll screw it up. I'm an IT guy who works on old tractors and motorcycles. The kind with CARBURETORS. I need to find somebody in my area who can do this kind of thing. Also, who can do the EGR delete tuning.

I'm a shade tree mechanic... It wasn't too hard of an install, just those rear intake bolts. A rod has a great install video you can follow. Just wear gloves or you'll cut your hands to holy hell on the plastic cowl...ask me how I know.

I believe that helps, but I also run Opti-Lube XPD or Opti-Lube XL (summer only) to help lube it.

Watch their Instagram... They just purposely grenaded a CP4 and drove it pulling a trailer. The truck was still running and the filter prevailed. Basically if it fails all you have to buy a new CP4 and a return filter. So like $1,200 vs $12,000...

Place I work for does all filters every 5k and get 250k + out of them with no troubles. The pump don't like DeF though!

I quite modifying trucks years ago.. have a hard time believing a small company is going to design anything better than ford who has hundreds of millions of dollars to work with. Almost every truck problem Iv had was directly related to an aftermarket part.
