I think it’s a team’s dress, But I definitely agree! It’s a great age to start too, because your muscles are still growing. I started at her age and am now a highly competitive dancer.

Who in the world could give this precious little girl a thumbs down? I would give her a second thumbs up if I could. Just precious!

I love etching these child Irish Danvers. Never gets old for me. I think learning the choreography and steps is great training for their minds, as well. To say nothing of the benefit of dance as exercise and just plain old fun.

Amazing performance, especially for a three year old. Well done, little lassie!!! 👏👏👏 Love to watch Irish dancing being performed especially by children. They are just so unbelievably cute!

Around about 30 years ago I was with an English morris dance group (The Travelling Morrice) doing a tour of the Ring of Kerry having a wonderful dance culture exchange with the local dancers and musicians in the villages. One image that has stayed with me was in a bar, watching the 3 year old daughter of the postman who was watching a morris jig inside the bar. She was not interested in the hand movements that traditionally are part of the morris, but was intently watching the feet and was clearly somewhat confused by the entirely different beat and unfamiliar steps, and was trying to work it out. I could see her tiny feet attempting to match the steps, without a lot of success - a whole different origin of tradition but so very wonderful to see the local dance culture so very strong there.

How could you give a thumbs down to a child who is trying her best to do her dance? I thought for their age they did a fantastic job.
