Can anyone here tell me why so many of the new M2's haters are actually BMW owners themselves?. The looks have grown on me personally, and it seems like such an exciting drive.

They’re literally just mad that they don’t have the new one and that theirs is more dated especially with all the new features and the newer power plant. BMW owners always hate the new gen until they can get it, then they love it. It’s clock work lol. I have a new M2 on the way, used to have an E92 and it was the same thing when the E92 came out, then when the F80s came out. Now everyone loves them.

3,6 seconds in a rear wheel car with „only“ 460hp is absolutely INSANE!! This is the car to buy! I’m going to do everything possible to get this car in time to have it for the rest of my life. I’ve also chosen you as the first one to watch the M2 video from as in the past you’ve brought these cars to us viewers the best!

What a brilliant review. Great job Joe!! Other "carTubers" should learn from you. I have had mine for 3 days now and loving it. Took it to the canyons here in California with my friends M4 comp. We exchanged cars every 10 min and we compared. He said he wished he got the G87 instead.

Hey, what I did notice, and I hadn't noticed this in other cars featuring the I-Drive 8 curved screen -- how much that screen is vibrating - quite noticeable towards the end of your video. Hmm, I currently own a a G42 M240i xDrive ... is this M2 my next upgrade??

Joe, were the other larger channels watching you and taking notes just to get all the proper details on the new M2...because they would be wise to do so!

Brilliant vid as always. Delighted to hear the new M2 is a gem (was concerned about the increase in weight). That said, if the base M2 is 460hp, the Competition version is bound to be very close to the M3/M4, which.....

@@TrueFilter It’s all about the software. My 2017 m240i zf8 with xhp stage 3 is as fast as this one 🙂

Love the colour of the seats, would be a nice colour sceam on the carbon buckets and while undoubtedly a good car, the shape isn't great but great viewing again joe 👍

Always love Joes vids. Yet another example of BMW making a great performance car and failing abysmally in the design department.

@Joe Achilles I saw that towards the end but I totally get it, with the m3 touring and the other vehicles in your fleet.

Great video as usual. Not a fan of the front end (as with most bmw's of late) looks great fun to drive though.
