    I so wish we'd had one of these when we were putting up hay 60 years ago. Thousands of bales. Love seeing the Olivers in action, too.

    Thanks Eric. That bale wagon will be entering its 47th season. Bought new in 1974. All that equipment predates me 😂

    Thanks for making your video known on BTP's latest bale wagon release. I've been searching them out on YT & this one didn't come up. Really enjoy watching them in action & always looking to keep myself updated on operation, tip 'n' tricks & maintenance. So far, the searches have been helpful. Enough that I bought my first Stackliner this spring. Had a few minor issues, but so far I like it. Only got to use it once, but at least I got it on video. Posted it to my account so my mother could watch it. She got stuck going to the hospital the day before I baled so I parked the camera under the cherry tree where she would normally sit so she could enjoy the show while she was away. She did indeed! Great job on the video. Well put together. Regards!

    New Holland bale wagons are a pretty neat machine. I own a 1034. We use to use it a lot before we went to feeding a tmr to our milk cows. Now we only use it for a few loads of straw every year. When we used it for hay we could pick up and stack 1000 bales easily in a day.

    Awesome. I am surprised how many people don't know what they are. Models like our old 1002 can be had for a few thousand bucks. And you can move a lot of hay faster and without a backache.

    What kind of twine are you guys using? I have a 1002 and my twine breaks from time to time picking them up? I may need a new pickup chain also. Not sure.. I appreciate the good video

    If you straighten up the pushoff feet, then when you push off, push out about a foot, bring the feet back in, then push out.. they will stay straight.. been years since I have see a pull type at work! We had a 1037, three wide machine we bought new, about five years later it got traded on a 1048.. around twenty-five years later, traded to the 1075.. 1048 drove better, but 1075 makes a better stack. Good looking hay!!! Thanks for the video!!

    I love the baleliner. Now I want one. Would it work with a Ferguson tractor?

  • @crazydave4455

    @crazydave4455

    2 жыл бұрын

    It should, the tractor running this one is 30 some HP. The stackliner has its own hydraulic pump so you just need a PTO. Just make sure the tractor is heavy enough to handle the weight. This Oliver is 4200# and heavy alfalfa bales can make the nose light.

    @@pinesedgefarm1155 That machine could probably push out 100+ at least. On my farm mine is A Ferguson not a John Deere. One field I got 350 Of 80 pound bales. 2nd crop is a little bit smaller show around 340 bales baler wise... Our hay wagons can hold about a 100

    The hay looks like you cut it with a brush mower tiny pieces. Usually when its chopped that small it never dries like lawnmower grass

  • @crazydave4455

    @crazydave4455

    That wasn't typical of most of the field. Just a few of the outside rounds close to the wetland. The grass there was finer and shorter. It was cut with a new Holland haybine.

    I’m sure it would have enough power, it would be the weight I’d worry about. The rear axle is set way back, a good load of alfalfa will make the front end light on these 77s.

    Parts availability you can still run and get parts for that old 336 usually same day. And there was/is a Deere dealer in our town. Although now it’s a place to buy lawnmowers, not much on Ag equipment anymore.
