My friend, who is already 80, has made the double 8 rings in very much the similar way. His construction, which intentionally makes the two "circles" a bit farther apart, can have two ways of playing or using your terms two solutions. But this pair, which is kind of commercial product, can have only one solution. Thanks for your informative comments!

i should admit that the 8-ring puzzle gave me the most headache ever. very humbling experience. thx for the upload.

Both the top and bottom spaces are too small for the wire to fit through, where as their bottom loop was large enough to slip the wire through

I literally accidentally put it back together lol

I somehow had mine flipped in a position I havent seen in any video on the 2nd version of the 8. The top ring's hook at 1:50, instead of coming in from the bottom it entered through the top

Apart from the music, a very good demonstration, slowing down at the crucial part

I think the minor has two solutions...it depends on the way that you join them...I knew a different way to resolve it. Try intertwines them in a different way.

I one shot mine out but then when i played thema back aigin there where difrint then the shout be now its unsolfebol

One tip: Don’t start playing with these things while having this video playing in the background....
