1RC 1:18th Scale Late Model Dirt Oval RC Car, Unboxing, Painting my Racecar, So Scale!

My local hobby shop www.shakahobbies.com does a lot of racing, I have been out for the MiniZ, but these 1rcracing dirt oval cars are a different level. Super scale 1/18, so I get one painted and ready to go race!

The 1RC cars are simply awesome !! I have 2 of the Sprint Cars and the performance is incredible. I’m running them on 7.4 Li-Po batteries. Slightly more zip but much longer runtime. Mine are done up using Lance Built vinyl wraps. It’s a shame no manufacturer builds a 1/10 scale car like this with real scale chassis and suspension, and details like engines, headers, QC looking reared, etc..

They were selling these cars at Hobby Town in Green bay. I not sure if it caught on. But I think I bought some of the shocks for these cars out of the bargain bin. For scratch building projects. Actually you might want to size them up to the front of a Rat Rod build.

You putting the number 11 on got me laughing a bit, just go a flashback from my late teens. A guy I started to get aquainted to fixed up this old and had it look like a race car with decals and number 11 on the doors. I asked him why he chose number 11 and he told me that Eleven had been his nickname since he was a kid. I did not know that and found it a bit unusual, so I asked him why, but he didn't know. Said it was just a name someone gave him. Later on I asked a mutual friend of ours, who had known Eleven for a long time, why he was called that. He said they named him that already in pre-school, because he always had two yellow "1's" on his upper lip. And he never knew himself! xD Thanks for uploading! Greetings from Sweden

I find the oval cars interesting from a design point. the Oswego modifieds are even more extreme with the motor fitted outside the chassis frame. You almost need a removable bonnet and then you could detail the motor as well. Almost a drivable static model.

Ur not the only one who feels that way😂😂 my OCD refuses to let me enjoy anything that's not semetrical. And in mɔst cases even if so m everything doesn't belong to me I will put my hands on it to make it the same just until it's out of my sight😂

Huh, a funky little car! They race the full size ones not too far from my house and it's fun to watch. 1/18 scale is an interesting choice but it makes sense, smaller car means smaller track, smaller track means easier events....But, when are you going to build a tow rig? I think a TRX-4M could be a good size for a donor. (Also I see that Puddin's Fab shop sticker on ur tool box. Clearly you need to do a box truck rat rod.)

That TicTac came out looking great😜 I'm impressed by how scale it is, now it needs to filter to 1/24. Good luck for when you race it👍🏻
