Picked up our 01 Intrigue GL with 55,000 miles early 2021. Wife claimed it, she loved the heated leather seats. Just picked up another, an 02 Intrigue GX with 85,000 miles. No heated leather seats but the cloth seats are still alright. Paid $2,200 for the 1st and $2,000 for the 2nd, both rust free and ride great. We are the 3rd owners for both cars. Can't believe how nice these cars are and how cheap they are nowadays! Went to the auto parts store and the young guy working there asked me what's an Oldsmobile and thought it was some type of Ford model, ended up explaining the Oldsmobile history 🤣.

Lol how did he not hear about Oldsmobile? If someone works at an auto parts store they should know all car manufacturers, including ones that are now dead especially Oldsmobile

@@T-Rex-nm1se Oh you'd be surprised lol. I worked at Advanced Auto Parts part time for about a year in Baltimore, Maryland. It was a 2nd job as I already had a good full time job and was a Marine Corps reservist. The manager who hired me was a very nice woman but knew very little about cars but knew how to manage the store very well. There were about 20 other employees I worked with that year, only 3 of them were knowledgeable about cars. Within the year I worked there the 3 who were knowledgable about cars were the only ones who stayed. Literally all the others were fired for no call no show, theft, being on drugs at work, etc. A lot of them had criminal records and it was the best job they could get or was within walking distance. Some were young people 18-25 with ZERO automotive knowledge just customer service experience etc. Long story short I only left when I had to leave for military service, but when I came back nobody I had worked with before were there. Just new people who could barely figure out how to use the computer to look up parts, I had to show 2 of them how to cross reference different part numbers lol.

I bought a 1999 intrigue just over a week ago with 108,000 miles on it. It was a one owner owned by a old lady that couldn't drive anymore because of her condition. I bought it at a used car dealership. So far I love the car it drives really well. And in great condition

In late 1999, my family had an Intrigue rental car when on a trip to Colorado visiting family for Thanksgiving.

I have the Alero which is pretty similar. What a cheap cheap interior. It looks cool and swoopy but it falls apart so easy. The dome light always falls out, some black box or something falls down from under the dash, and the driver seat frame is broken. I'm not sure how that happened. Thats how I bought it. The interior looks to be in really good shape. It's not raggedy. It's just made of such cheap materials. Good ol GM.
