Oh, so the blue wire cuts on the amp? That's important. Does the amp connector from the tape deck need to be connected to anything?

So the blue wire I didn’t need to use and the wire that’s turning on the amp is the blue/white wire. As far as the connector for the tape deck, it does not get used. I mean it's cool and all I'm 40 and it's a throwback using that old shit but after you have android auto it's just hard to do the old crap lol. Spotify is where it's at plus you have Google maps which is essentially like having nav. Im going with a modern deck on my newest 97 cobra as I did in my 07 gt500. Much better.

Did you click network mode or standard mode I'm confused? I have the same car as yours

The modes are really dependent on how you have your system set up, I went with standard mode because the only thing that I have connected as far as RCA cables are for my SUB. My speakers have the factory harness connected to them, it’s only when you have separate RCAs connected to amps for your speakers that you would need to worry about the modes

So i typically go to metraonline.com/ and then when I find the correct part number, ill put it on amazon and then I usually find what I need. Sometimes you can get lucky even at your regular parts store.

You actually have to cut up the 2 factory notches that bolt the OEM trim, and then you drill small holes into the dash to then put the bracket on

Fits 1994-1998 just be aware you'll have to do slight modifications
