    I like how back then cars didn't have a bunch of useless technology trash. That's why I prefer to drive older cars from the 90's, and early 2000's, this is my next car I'm getting for a Winter Beater. While my 07 Camry, gets a complete new paint job during Winter season.

    Edit**** its 2021 and i sold the lexus .. :( i bought a 2007 manual corolla sports a few days later and absolutely hate it , yes it's more modern but drives like ass compared to a lexus.. modern cars are so cheaply made.. so a few weeks later of driving the corolla i went out yesterday and picked up a 1999 lexus es300 with 135k miles in prestine condition , rare black interior and WOW i must say it honestly is built BETTER THAN MY 2004 ES300 THAT I HAD , ths door thump is soo firm the whole car is so tight and solid im very impressed , i personally like this 97-01 model shape more than my previous 2004 model..

    While these will always have a special place in my heart, most used examples have hard leather that is cracking or shredded and the plastics have oxidized and are discolored. Also the 5 speed Aisin in the 4th gen ES has superior engine cruising speed at Highway speeds. Keep the 3rd gen in the garage and away from sitting in the sun and it will keep for a long time.

    I was fortunate enough to get one of these from my uncle as a gift for my first car about 2 months ago. I just had to spend for a newer engine with about 80k miles because he let the old one go to shit according to the mechanic. Just got it outta the shop a few weeks ago and it runs great. I’m thankful this was my first car and I love it already. Hope you find a good deal for one of these because you’ll love it👍

    I would opt for the next generation 2002-2006 are the best most reliable generation. This model in the video had issues with transmission failure & engine sludge if you do your research online. They are also more prone to rust on the wheel arches than newer generations.

    ant billionz Lexus is a luxury brand but you also bought a 22 year old car ....2200 for 89k miles is a good deal , although it sounds like it needed a solid bit of work .

  • @bangladeshirealtor

    @bangladeshirealtor

    ant billionz right now it is after you put the labor and parts in , I just meant it needed some TLC when you bought hence why you got a lower price . You were able to DIY it sounds like most don’t wanna do that so if they took it to a shop they would be all in for 3-5k with purchase price & tag/title
