1998-11 YTV commercials

With bumpers and station IDs from the "Keep it weird" period. Taken from a late-night block of "Ocean Girl", "AYAOTD", and "Are You Being Served? Again!" circa November 19, 1998 - give or take two days. Usenet archives show that they abruptly changed the schedule around this date -- it was previously a block of Mainframe Entertainment's CGI cartoons, which is what I was trying to record.

these commercials bring back memories...and you could totally tell this was late night because of the few toy commercials and stuff that would be shown at night. Around this time I was slowly easing myself off of YTV and making Teletoon my go to station. The Keep it Weird campaign kind of scared me off especially since most of the PJ's that I was familiar with had left. I had that Pro 576 thing, my mom wanted it mostly for Tetris

I think YTV's look around this time lasted from August 31, 1998 to September 5, 1999

I remember Spine Chilling Saturdays. Whenever my babysitter would come over and watch us on Saturday nights we would always tune into Buffy, Goosebumps and AYAOTD. I also remember in between shows during Spine Chilling Saturdays they would have these really creepy commercials of shows that were "coming up next". I just remember one of a little girl in her attic spinning while looking into a mirror. Then she would leave but her reflection would still be there with the creepiest look on her face.
