    95 honda civic, similiar makeup. Replaced alternator couldn't get belt off. Decided to leave old belt. Crunk up and it sounded like a dinosaur. I only loosened the power steering belt though. Watched the video but I didn't catch the part where the alternator belt came off. Do you have to lossen the timing belt too?

    To take out the belt of alternator u gotta loosen the alternator bolts top and bottom it should move back

    Yes yes it does. But for the belt to come off you have to take off/loosen another pulley/belt. Just don’t know if you have to loosen ALL the accessory belts

    @@RBTheMechanic Thanks I go it. The pulley tensioner was being a headache but it eventually did what I needed it to do
