I installed the Banks headers w/exhaust and really couldn't tell any difference. The best performance increase to compliment the headers I did was a 460 EFI Guys throttle body setup. 4 mpg fuel increase and a lot more power.

@@moyreyes3508 My truck still has all the emissions on it, so I installed the emissions compliant kit, so it is still "legal". Although I live in a non-emissions required county, I just didn't want to butcher up the engine and remove the smog stuff. If you live in a non-emissions required area, either kit should be legal for your truck.

Efi guys won't respond to emails or return phone calls and the headers are awesome quality and definitely increase torque big time, very satisfying with them.

@@andersonsprairieviewfarm2552 That sucks about the efi guys, seems their business practices are lacking. I am hearing more and more negative information about them. So far mine is still working well, but at least it was pretty much a non-destructive install and if I need to go back to the original manifold I can. Time will tell I guess.

Just got done doing my 87 f250 with the 460, i used hedman long tubes, i took the motor out and freshened it up with new gaskets and seals all the way around and all other bolt on parts are new, so when putting the motor back in i did the headers which is why I pulled it to begin with, what a job getting thos long tubes in 😂😂😂

Been looking online for this same truck. Crew cab, with 7.5L 460, and that is an F250. My dad has this same exact truck. It's an absolute monster. Large, loud, and she roars when you start it hahah. Awesome truck. They're absolute gas hogs

@jaredcoleman4248 first thing , keep all your vaccum lines in order , second thing is to take out the egr tube adapter fitting in the stock exhaust manifold because nobody makes a aftermarket one to replace it. You'll need to still run the egr valve from the drivers side header to the egr . They sell new tubes for cheap and new egr valves for cheap . Run headers and delete the cat. Get a new o2 sensor. You still need to run the egr valve otherwise your check engine light will come on . . I got rid of the factory oil cooler because they really don't help.

It seemed to have a little more torque. And I deleted the air pump and smog stuff. Was about to change the intake and throttle body.

Is there a link for these headers ? Cant find them anywhere... 88 F350 460 crew cab

It was a little better but then the sound of the exhaust made you want to floor it more . So balanced out . lol

Have a 94 f250 xlt extended cab that im currently doing a build on the tranny caught fire on it a few months ago and I finally got enough money for a rebuild and she's currently in the tranny shop getting worked on and I have so much planned for the truck not even funny

Is that port on the driver side header have threads to block it off ?

I don’t know yet man. Still trying to get it back together. Going to order some other parts while it’s apart and fix an oil leak. I’ll keep you posted

What kind of lift kit do you have and what kind would you recommend? I have 3 little boys and moneys tight I notice you have the best of the best on that bad bad truck. How did it run after the header install?

I have to rough country 4 inch on it. .. take your time building it man. Mine has been a 4 year project . Slow and steady. Definitely runs good with the headers . About to do another video on it . Thanks for watching and stay motivated buddy.

need to extend wire for oxygen sensor anyone know a company that makes them, I have the banks headers 1996 f-superduty 460 7.5

I installed banks headers on my f250 and they fit like sh*t.

Open headers sound like 💩 to me i like low mellow rumble

I don’t like headers for street applications. Too loud, too big, not very durable, performance increases are marginal and generally overrated, cost is astronomical for good ones. Big blocks, even these SD EEC-IV 460’s, can make great power without the waste of time and money headers generally are off a race track.
