I remember very well these were everywhere. These Blazers and Ramchargers were great at everything except gas mileage. My older brother bought a new 1977 Blazer with a 400 small block V8 and fulltime 4x4. At the time those white spoke wagon wheels were popular so he bought a set with some 31/10 50/15 tires on it. We drove from New York to Virgina with it and we had to stop for gas every hour.

Damn
5.8 is an awesome engines. They were used in 1980's Ford Crown Victoria Police cars. Miss those days
With all the V8, body on frame SUVs on the market today, it surprises me there is not a single 2 door like the Broncos and Jimmys of old. BTW I have an Eddie Bauer winter coat of the same age. 😁
Glad you got this beautiful two tone end of an era 1996 Ford Bronco eddie bauer gorgeous and stunning
My uncle had an Eddy Bauer Aerostar van, back in the day. It was pretty cool, with mid swivel seats.
people always say they only make like 220bhp ok with a windsor v8 all you have to do is swap the cam, heads, and intake and you can double the power output to modern amounts of power.
The all the full-size Broncos are sexy AF. I am rebuilding my 96 Bronco... I get offers from strangers wanting to buy it but I will never sell it.
First luxury SUV/crossover IMO is the AMC Eagle Wagon. Grand Wagoneer too. Nice car!

Not the Range Rover? I've always thought Range Rover started the luxury SUV segment.
1996 was the final year for these Broncos before being replaced by the Expedition. I don’t think this necessarily lead to their loss in popularity, but this generation Bronco became known for being the kind of vehicle in the O.J. Simpson police chase in 1994. I think it was more a matter of declining popularity in 2-door SUVs, because who wants to have to move the front seats in order to get in the back?
Super cool truck, and the 351w is basically an LS, without the oil squirters to the pistons
Well done! Great cinematography
Thanks for another great video Zach! :^)
I love how ford just reused the dual tank switch for the broncos without changing the look of the interior much, my dad has a 2002 ford expedition eddie bauer edition
Beautiful example of a 90’s Bronco.
I can recall at a point in the early to mid 2000s when these rigs second or third owner could be had spare change laying around.
This machine is glorious !
Except that one white one 😂8:00
The one white Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer from California is iconic because of the OJ Simpson slow speed 90 min chase in 6-17-1994, and I'm looking for one like it. But the gas mileage was not good with the 5.8 liter V8, it meant to be driven on weekends, never a daily driver.

I daily drive mine and get 13 mpg. It's more so smiles per gallon lol
I'm about to inject my knowledge of old Ford. The Explorer did not replace the Bronco. The Explorer replaced the Bronco II. The Expedition is what replaced the Bronco. But those the Expedition and the Explorer had Eddie Bauer models.
I have a white/tan 96 Eddie Bauer restored to factory paint. They were all tan rockers and tan top if it’s an EB. This example has the paint two tone flipped and messed with.
I personally love the mid 90’s Broncos the best. Thank you for sharing!
That is so nice & clean, just a wonderful example!
the color on this thing is just insane.
I spent a lot of time driving fleet Customs and XLTs with 302/automatics back in the early 90s. They took a beating, but would go over terrain faster then a similar stock blazer or Ram Charger because of the IFS. Handled pretty decently on the highway too. Too much off road that causes frame flex would result in cracks in the floor board and cowl. Sort of weird to feel the floor flexing under your heel as your foot’s on the gas pedal going over terrain. Later ones in the fleet got Rancho suspension components and held up much better. But I loved these things. Almost bought survivors a couple of times but couldn’t come to terms on price. Hard to pony up hard earned cash when you have a lot of experience and know what wears and what breaks without getting a good price.
Beautiful
Wow. Absolutely beautiful truck....
So cool
Beautiful truck
If I remember right you also got a set of Eddie Bauer luggage when you bought this package.
That thing is clean!
A very clean truck. If it's unrestored, I'm impressed with how well it survived. I love the tasteful mods and color-matched fender flares. These trucks are worth stupid money now because people want a basic, rugged, yet comfortable truck. The only problems are the fuel economy and the rustproofing. If you go back even before the term SUV was invented, the Jeep Wagoneer/Super Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer was considered the 4x4 Cadillac. I consider it to be the first luxury SUV.

He said twice that it’s been restored
Curious how much lift is on it to fit the 35's? Looks great that height. Not too tall and just looks beefy!
You know Zack there was a time when you never heard Liter. It was cu, in. 351 cu, in. V8.
I’ve got a white 1994, guess what comment I get the most. It’s always an O.j comment. Maybe because my plates say NOT OJ. It brings a smile to everyone I’ve come across.
This Bronco is Royalty ❤
Is there ‘Back Seats'. Thanks @ShootingCars for saying that there is backseats
Shoulder belts are attached to the top ! so taking the top off you cant have passengers in the rear!
Does anyone know what that specific grille guard / bullbar is?
Does it have back seats or no?
Come drive my 1989 XLT bronco. I flipped about a year ago while wheeling at the mountains.
I would prefer the Jack Bauer edition :D
A real Bronco Not today's plastic fantastic broncos...
Your reviews are great with the exception of the bottle holder fail gag. No car ever should pass this test. Instead use IA normal coffee cup of some type.

But some cars do pass the BFB test.
A lot of these met their fate during the Cash For Clunkers era.
who knew that Eddie Bauer was a clothes company and Ford during the 1996 they made a 1996 Ford BRONCO Eddie Bauer Edition
I sometimes wonder if Eddie Bauer is related to Jack Bauer.....
its a 2 door Navigator.
Is there a brand that could effectively take the place of Eddie Bauer today?
What MAN uses the term “lovely” to describe a truck (or ANYTHING for that matter) with the exception of maybe our brothers across the pond in England?
'if you have the manpower and the willpower' hehe
Yeah in the 2010 they did
All the dough poured into this truck and the steering wheel is off center?
If yoy ever want one of these never get an automatic. Worst automatics ever built, shelf life of 150k miles or less. Manual + 300 i6 is the way you want it! Beautiful machine either way

Broncos didn't come with manual transmissions after 1992. The autos aren't bad I've seen them hit 300k if you didn't drive like a madman. The 5.8 V8 was also more powerful and better for towing which makes more sense if you are getting a truck.
So cool 😮😍
Look at O.J go……this time in a EB version.
Two years after OJ.
This is a 3 speed transmission. Hope it’s a c6 transmission.
@cesarmontes5177

It's actually 4 speed E40D transmission
How much?

These ain't worth over 10k but for some reason people are charging 20k or more for these barebones things

@bldontmatter5319 when dealerships are changing 100K for the new Bronco, 20K almost seems reasonable...
@bldontmatter5319

@@galil_6863 almost, but this is basically an engine, transmission, a frame, and 2 axles. Pretty sure they retailed around 10k back in the day.

uh, most every truck is an engine, transmission, a frame, and two axles...@@bldontmatter5319
Same as my 95 xlt,and my 1985 waldoch was way nicer than that, but you like saying Eddie Bauer 100 times so it must be cool
Sheesh 🙄 a 1996 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer again sheesh 😒 can’t believe that Ford did this in the 1996.
