@@MostynARC you guessed right! Thanks for posting all these videos, especially the ones pre-1991, which was before my time. Do you have the world champs 8 final from 1997? It was on the FISA site for a while but has disappeared, and I can’t find any recording of it anywhere

The next tape I'm going to be converting is labelled 97 & 98 so it could well be on there. I'll find out next week some time

Good news and bad news. The bad news is that I have eight races from the 1997 Worlds, but the mens 8 isnt one of them. the good news is that the race is on the FISA site, go to www.eurovisionsports.tv/fisa/ and type 1997 in the search box, the mens 8 is on page 2. In other good news looks like I have World cup 1 and 2 races with your GB eight in. Should be up in the next 10 days

I think they do a farmers market at the venue now

That was the last time Australia won this boat in the Olympics after Atlanta 96 GB started a dynasty with very powerful crews
