ストーリー:
セーブルタワーの戦いから2年後・・・不死の魔王デイモスを倒し、ダロキン共和国に平和をもたらした勇者一行は、新たなる冒険や仲間との出逢いを求め、その地を後にした。彼らは今、ブロークンランド山地を通り、グラントリ公国を目指す。D&D シャドーオーバー ミスタラの物語は、ここから始まる・・・。

Back during the golden age of gaming. This was the peak of arcades too.
I loved this game way back in the arcades. Always great to see someone finish it on 1 credit.

@@DNArtsNSupplies Arcade cabinets do not have the same feel as going to an arcade. Many people buy a small personal arcade for their home using the arcade machines at first then they just sit unused for years.

I played this game so much when I was a kid. I knew all the secret treasure passages. I also fought the red dragon and beat the ending boss with one quarter without dying. This was My favorite arcade game. Also street fighter and mortal kombat.
The graphics fooled me into thinking it was The Record of Lodoss War

Well, they do share two pretty major things - they're both japanese and they're both D&D, so it makes sense.

Capcom took lots of tributes to other popular works. In breath of fire 3, you get 2 horse using dragon ball z fusion dances to fuse into ultra(horse)man . In street fighter, you get Blanka who gets inspired by Tora from Ushio n Tora. Hodouken is also from Kamemeha. You get the twirl dual sword slice like Attack of Titans in Monster Hunter world. Vava/Vile from Megaman X basically is Boba from Star wars. There are many other examples but require knowing both materials.

31:50 呪いのつるぎ1は50回以上振る事で呪いが解けますが確率でダメージを受けます。しかし、シーフ以外ならジャンプの着地と同時に振る事で呪いダメージを回避できます。なお、シンを倒した後に呪いのつるぎ1で自殺するとフリーズするのでやってはいけません(笑)
Love the red dragon in the intro, they took it out in the XBLA/PSN release.
最強のネタプレイ「ボッチナグパ」が見たかった…
Who composed the music for this game?! Was it the guy from Final Fantasy Tactics? Jesus they sound so similar. The perfect feel for a DnD Game.
I could have sworn I played this well before 1996. Was in 1994 that a group of my friends enjoyed playing a D&D stand up Arcade. I remember Tower in the title, not Shadow over Mystara.

That was the first of these... Tower of Doom. Shadow Over Mystara is the sequel and oh so good... I have probably 100 hours or more in this game and I've still not seen everything it has to offer.
Float Shoes + Infinite arrow = OP. Apparently.

it's not the infinite arrow. It's the silver arrow. When you are in the air you don't lose the arrow, thus the levitation trick.

I knew about the LEvitation boots + silver arrow trick, but I didn't know about the Haste trick at the very end. Though it took you a long time to setup it.

今更ではありますがレッドドラゴンの瞬殺は「伝説の剣で基本攻撃力を上げる」「雷のロッドとイヤリングを装備して魔法攻撃力を上げる」「クリティカルでLBをヒットさせる」の条件が揃わないと無理だったはずですよ。

こちらも今更ですが、レッドドラゴンは手前に落ちてるバスタードソードでも瞬殺可能 途中ヘイストかけ直しが必要だったかもしれないですが

このゲーム20年くらい前かな？懐かしい。 エルフが好きでエルフでしてましたが、いやぁ基本操作がわからねぇ。忘れちまった悲しみ。 何面まで行ったか分かんないしどさくさに紛れて攻撃されるから小刻みに体力減る。 クリアーまでした記憶がある。ただしワンコインではないが。 誰かとプレイしたがはて、誰やったかな？友達かな？ エルフ🧝♀️の最後の『ｵｰ❗』が勇まして好き過ぎる。

The Elf stops levelling up after Level 10, just gaining the two +8 HP boosts before capping off. Exp in this game is cosmetic, each character levels-up at the end of certain stages.

@@keih.6882 呪いの剣1と2があって腐海にある方をクレリックが何回か触るとアンデッド即死効果のある剣、ホーリーアベンジャーになる。 ソロではクレリックで呪いを解いてから死んで剣を装備出来る奴で復活とかしないと取れない。 もう片方の伝説の剣は動画の通り。
基板破壊クラスのものも含めてバグ地獄のゲームだからなあ 版権の問題もあるし、移植にせよエミュレートにせよ一作まるごと作るのに匹敵する作業になりそうである

Sega Saturn, Japanese only. Its an STV port though.
Some of the enemy sprites look a lot cooler than the hero sprites. I love how entirely they miss the point of Dungeons and Dragons here.

@@voutespancar the point is that you create a character and make decisions that influence the outcome of things, potentially changing the whole story. This arcade game has pre made one dimensional characters that only operate only on smash or be smashed rules. The old pick-your-path books or Fallout would be closer, but could never cover all the infinite possibilities that people playing with each other are capable of.

D&D would never have catched my eyes without this game, for instance. isn't Diablo and his succesor not around anymore? Didn't they sold millions of copies the past few years? How comes we talk about this scarce Capcom release 25 years after its release? You are making a comparison between a whole standalone genre and a single game, fair right?

来るなら来いさん、たぶん100万台じゃなくて300万台じゃないかな？ ハイスコア狙いの上手い人だと、迷いの森のBDで150万いくし、普通プレイでもRD倒してクリアすれば大体200万台だし ちなみにゲーメストの第1回D&Dハイスコアの1位のエルフは3,924､898で2位は3,778,700 3位は3,3690､226です ･･･ワイはクリアするだけで精一杯です･･･

ぽいずんおとこさん、恐らくおっしゃっている通りだと思います スコア約30万の差は未だに忘れる事ない記憶として残っているので、ゲーメストの1位が392万なら364万だと思います ご指摘ありがとうございます🙇🏻
