THESE MINIVANS ARE SO EASY TO WORK ON ... ONE SPARK PLUG ON EACH SIDE ON TOP OF THE TIRES , AND THE OTHER FOUR EASY FRONT OF THE VAN ... SAME FOR SPARK PLUG WIRES. THERE'S LOTS OF ROOM TO SERVICE THE MOTOR .🤗

that's true ... 22 years with my 1995 3.0 L , 200k mi. Best car I have ever had . Batteries, one starter, tires and that's about it ... Always passed emissions test every time . $ 15 dls. a month liability insurance.🙏

The awd aerostars only came with the 4.0 in them. My parents had a 91 red aerostar awd 4.0. They pulled a 18 foot camper with it. Pulled it pretty good.

1985 to 88 had the same look with the sealed beam headlights and metal grille with truck mirrors, 1989 to 91 got the next facelift with newer door mirrors and grille but same old sealed beam headlights and offered extended body . 1992 to 97 got the newer dashboard with composite headlights and revised grille. 97 was only year to have the red tail lights.

It's also a Windstar motor as well but I will say at least the Aerostar did better than the WinStar ever did

I have an 89 Ford Aerostar... Completely junk, but I hope to fix it up... The freeze plugs came out and my dad abandoned it and it is mostly rust now

97' XLT 186k miles still going strong. a ton of room with 1 bench seat taken out. Total pain to have worked on

Was a good van by ford

Buy it from the wrecker spend three grand save forty grand new price

I feel like Green Aerostars are always scrapped. Were most of these green?

Now that u pointed that out I wanna say yes.. 92 to 97s were mostly green or red ish.. that I have noticed

vado575 Yeah and I feel like it’s usually with that bisque/beige color plastic side cladding. I think the color is Atlantic Green.

Yeah no room at all.. but I still would like to find one with a 2.3 lima motor with a 5speed..that would kickass
