Love the car. Mine is a 1995 too. Love wrenching on it.
I have this car in red. A labour of love this car. Beautiful details and a real two-seater sport car feel. Lightweight, design is superb and fast. In europe you can still find them from 3000 up to 10.000. A lot of admirers and enthousiasts here so probably a good investment. A lot of barchetta’s are torn to pieces for being a donorcar. Oh it is pronounced barketta and barchetta doesn’t start with a capital B
barchetta….meaning ‘little boat’. I bought one new in 1995 in the UK. Red with the leather interior and also got the factory hard top for the winter. I adored it and wish I still had it. Today? I have a 1970 FIAT 500 for the sunny days. Not ‘quite’ the same😀but great fun.

56.000 cars build. Last real Fiat car. From the chassis to the engine. Orange color code 570 is the Lamborghini orange color. The line on the side look like a Ferrari 166MM and the same for the handle. Front Lights remember Ferrari 550Maranello. All the car lines have a memory for the Black Horse. Engine 1.8 L 16V over 200kmh and 0-100 8.9sec. Problems: Lpg isn't original. The under chassys isn't original color (jack point was black original color, not orange).

Very important with the barchetta, the weld underneath the body is not the jack point. There are jack points a bit further towards the inside of the vehicle. And yes, the underbody is supposed to be black. And no, there never was a launch edition.
