1995 Crown Vic with a Borla muffler (single exhaust)

Not only is this the newest vehicle that I've ever owned, but it's also the closest I ever came to daily driving a classic car. RIP my high school dreams

Yes, filmed with a potato and all.
This proves the point that slow cars with a nice exhaust can feel and sound just as fast a other cars
Dope, looks pretty clean! Get duals on her, you'll love the difference in power. You just need the H-pipe, another muffler and the driver side tailpipe. All bolts right up to your current exhaust.

It was a one-owner car when I picked it up in 2017, she wasn't supposed to be my daily driver but I've tried to take care of her regardless. It'll have dual exhaust at some point.

Having a section of single (or a double x pipe) will keep the sound blended, smooth, and high-pitched/racey like it is now. It'll also scavenge better, and a Y pipe is the opposite of restrictive if you get the sizes right. Dual 2.25 into single 3 or 3.25, Dual 2.5 into single 3.25 or 3.5, or dual 3 into single 4 or 4.25. For this car it won't need more than dual 2,25 with single 3 unless he puts improved Twisted Wedge heads and a David Vizard spec cam (aka a max effort N/A build) on it. I say, long term, shorty headers 1.75" primaries with a max of 2.5" collectors, high flow cats, equal length Y-pipe into single 3," LONG glass pack muffler, then split it back into dual 2.25 or 2.5 for the axle-back. The axle-back should simply consist of dual 4" dia x 12-18" long tips (or quad 3-3.5" dia, same length) and whatever length and shape of tubing it takes to put them where he wants them. Single wall, double wall, or rolled edge, and slash cut, turndowns, or straight ended is up to OPs preference. I prefer a slash-cut rolled edge or double wall.
That actually sounds really good 👍

It's not that loud from inside the cabin, I was surprised when I watched this clip for the first time.

I grew up in the back of a white '97 Grand Marquis with a maroon velour interior, I've never seen another quite like that one.
I had a 96 Crown Vic that I sold last year. Is it the Pro XS and is the rest of the exhaust stock?

It's all stock besides the Universal Pro XS muffler, but I also replaced the cats and O2 sensors with OEM parts.
That car has no right to sound that good. No right I tell ya.

The new cats must've helped open it up, as well. It hasn't run this smoothly in a long time.
Doesn't sound that great to me.

@@rockguitarist931 It sounds good without being too loud and obnoxious. I think it fits the Crown Vic vibe just fine!

@@surfordie82 I still say it sounds pretty damn good for being mostly stock haha.

@@BigKandRtv I was thinking about putting the peace-sign exhaust on it just to be obnoxious.
Sounds terrible. Go buy a real V8.

Seriously? You won't lose your street cred if you admit that it sounds decent for being mostly stock, obviously you didn't read the description before leaving a comment.
