@@chrisj4991 Hey mate. I have all Bathurst 1000 from 1984 & all ATCC / V8 Supercars rounds from 1993.

as a US fan of v-8's who fell in love with the worlds best racing series in the days of marcos ambrose (Speed Channel showed them during our off season) it is EPICLY HUGELY Mega that you posted these old bathurst races that ive been DYING to experience for myself. I WILL make the over 12 hour flight to australia to see a v-8 race someday, until then, your uploads are helping the addiction :)

Larrikin Larry Perkins drove the race of his life. Unreal. They don't make 'em like LP anymore.

@@jarrodminogue9244 Except for at the start when he was blabbing about the front wheels being toe out and the steering being stuffed. If he could tell anything from that onboard it would have been that the wheel was straight, suggesting no steering or suspension damage, just wobbling under load and over bums due to one tyre being inflated and the other being fat.

TODAY CAMERA'S ARE SO SMALL AN JUST ABOUT EVERY WHERE IN TODAY'S CARS AN HD PICTURES COMPARED WITH THE CAMERA'S IN THE CAR'S IN 1995 ! THEY WERE THE SIZE OF FRIDGE ! Fuck I miss these days, the cars, the drivers. The era was great.

When the 2 litre touring cars came out to compete in their separate Bathurst 1000 races in 1997 and 1998, they had 2 things in common, 1, they were the years when the Adelaide Crows won the premiership in the AFL, and 2, behind the microphone was the veteran voice of Formula 1 for many years, Murray Walker.

This is the race where without Larry Perkins preparing the cars Brockys engineering prep let them down. BTW until I clicked "Like" there were 161 likes-spooky!!

You got the clip where the Peter Jackson Grid girls kick Wilko in the balls? I think it was a pre-race segment of the last Bathurt 1000 PJ raced at.

Just think, that was the most recent year that Carlton won the flag in the AFl, the Blues would like to win another one any year they could.

This was the start of of the boring 2 make race,funny thing is holden are gone ford use a car that few people buy , why don't they just make bathurst a sport sedan race.
