第二次世界大戦を舞台にした超硬派シューティングゲーム。P-38ライトニング、スピットファイア、零式艦上戦闘機など、実在する往年の名戦闘機6機から自機を選択することができる。パワーアップは最大4段階で、1段階ごとに護衛機が1機装備され、ショットボタンによる溜め撃ちで自機によって異なる多彩なフォーメーション攻撃が可能となる。敵兵器には実戦配備されなかった超兵器群が多数登場するのも特徴的である。全8面の2周エンド。余談だがこのシリーズのイメージイラストを描くのは、プラモデルのパッケージやアニメなど、数々のミリタリーイラストを描く高荷義之 氏である。
ストーリー:
1945年夏、第二次世界大戦終結。世界は一応の平和を取り戻したかに見えた。しかし、かねてより各国の軍上層部との癒着が噂された謎の国際組織”CANY（キャニー）”が密かに軍部を掌握、実践配備に至らなかった新型兵器群をもって、全世界を内側より転覆させんと策謀していた。各国の不穏な動きをいち早く察知した連合軍司令部は秘密裏に全世界より選りすぐりの名戦闘機とそのパイロットを召集、”CANY”に対抗すべく特殊部隊ストライカーズを結成する。今ここに歴史の陰に隠された最後の世界大戦の火蓋が切って落とされる。

In 1945, the second world war ended. Soon, there was peace, but an organization of high-ranking military officers from all over the world form a global army known as CANY. Their mission was to conquer the world. CANY activity was found in areas like the Soviet Union, America, Japan, and even Germany. It is revealed that CANY had weapons never seen before from rockets to mechanical walkers. The world quickly formed a group of pilots and planes called the Strikers whose mission is to rid of CANY from the world.

- TIPS AND TRICKS -
* Unlock Extra Maintenance : if you hold Test Button + PL1 Button 1 during boot, you get extra options in the test menu. A level skip, BG test usually etc...
* Sexy Pilots Images & Names : if you make a perfect score, you can see how the sexy pilots look and what their names are. In practice, this means getting three gold medals at the end of each stage (for time, accuracy and completion). This should be done in the first loop of the game, the pilot of the plane you chose will be seen at the end of this first loop. Two pilots will be seen if it's a two-player game. The pilots can also be seen in the Extra Maintenance menu.

@@pholrakchantaratcharoen4563 Would have been insane to get gold 2nd loop with an additional photo of Cindy completely naked. Developers probably didn't think that far ahead or that anyone would complete both loops on one credit played.

Great play. This game drives me crazy not because it’s too hard to beat, but because whenever you get a power bar or a bomb, the upgrade always travel UPWARDS to the screen, and never move towards you! It’s very hard to re-gain power bar once you lose a life, making you likely to lose all 3 lives in a few seconds.

Download Striker's 1945 Classic by Mobrix on Google play. You can purchase full power start up to help you 1CC the game. You need to clear normal difficulty to unlock Hard, reach stage 8 to unlock Very Hard difficulty. Hard difficulty is Normal difficult on the original Arcade version which has 2 loops to clear.

R R OMFG you made my day! I have been waiting on a phone version of this game for 10 years! It is on IOS too. This is THE best game in my teenage years. Forget about Starcraft, counter strike and all that shit, this is THE game that I used to spend hours and many tokens in arcade playing, while avoiding my parents and teachers from finding me after school (btw FUCK them teachers). Just downloaded the IOS game and my first play went to level 7 with 3 lives. It is pretty fun, although the problem I described above still persists: you need to wait at least 3 seconds for any power ups to travel UPWARD and return to the middle of the screen so you can get it. Striker 1945III (Striker 1999) is my favourite striker series, and it doesn’t have the power up problem. The planes are modern, and the boss battles are also more challenging and fun.

I think this would make a good movie/anime movie. "With no thought or respect for history and/or the Japan Constitution, a new enemy from the future sends several powerful robots and delivers them to 1945 to change history, and hides the powerful mecha in strong WWII vehicles. Now it's up to a new force, the Strikers, talented pilots who must save the future and prevent the history from taking a very bad right turn..."

LOL, just don't forget that all these talented pilots are women who can take her clothes off if the main objectives are fulfilled by getting all gold bars and gold medals in the first loop. If it's an anime, it's a hentai.

I sometime curious on who did the concept artist for this game. One may notice the following : -Smooth and graduate change on enemy unit, early game levels features enemies that were based (at least some) on real WW-II down to early cold war aircraft,. Later levels features more "fantasy" enemies down to a gag (you can get Men in Black) -Rich details -Boss design which is awesome, except the last and gag boss. Later Striker games unfortunately features no female fighter pilot ;-;

If Strikers 1945 had character dialogue for the pilot of the P-38 in this game, in the style of Aero Fighters, along with Samurai Aces and a humorous ending in the style of the other Psikyo games like Samurai Aces and Gunbird, what would the dialogue be like as well the ending scene, oh, and let's not forget if this game had a joke final boss in place of the crabs and the space star-like thing?

while i like sony and sega... xbox had some games that are top top great for parties. besides halo. that asteroids type download game where u used the joysticks and the triggers (AMAZING) get the high score. fuzion frenzy insane mini game battles. i like that my friends mainly had xbox and n64. it was like i got to experience all the systems. online is cool, but id rather play with my friends in person

AC版はどうだか解らないけど、セガサターン版だと、全クリアの仕方によってはＥＤでプレイした機体の操縦者のグラフィックが入るんだよね（エンドロールの一部に)、でも…自分はAC版ではそんな芸当は無理だしセガサターン版でもゲームレベルを最弱にしてやっとこさ全クリア出来るくらい下手っぴなんだよね。
