Mystery calls, especially Brandon’s 2 nd TD that was called back and the 1st big punt return…..still looking for the phantom calls.
Lamont Pegues RB Clemson. I saw him in a couple high school games. His Thomasville Bulldogs beat my Forest Hills Yellow Jackets in the regional finals in North Carolina to win the 2A State Championship. Tough RB with a low center of gravity. Hard to tackle. I think he got in some trouble while at Clemson.
Steve Taneyhill would later go on to coach high school football in the town where I grew up and would lead them to a state championship or two (I don't rightly recall). Great to see him in his playing days.
