A true tank! Lasts a lifetime! The concept and phrase “Planned Obsolescence” didn’t exist when the world was a better place!
This is why I love detailing. You can take it from a fixture under a tree to something cool. Great work man.
Thats a really nice truck to be left out like that, get them to sell it to me XD
Man this yota is clean still for so old. Wow. We use to buy and sell these from the salvage pool. I’ve had a lot of fun times in a Toyota from rock climbing to camping and even car audio competition. I had a 87 turbo super cab that was setup for show. Man seeing this truck bright back memories.
Dude, we missed you. You are literally one of the best detailers on KZread. Subject matter, editing, quality, narration, all of it. You. Need to stay. M.A.D., Detail Geek, Stauffers Garage, and your channel are tied for top car detailing channels. Great to see you back

Love to see a good vehicle brought back to life....and purchased cheap!
It’s great you showed us the engine bay wash and outcome, I like this just as much as the body work. A lot of utubers don’t even show the engine bay, it’s the ultimate detail in my opinion
Your return is a good thing! The Toyota looked terrific when you finished detailing it. Thank you,
Truck looks great and good to see you back, looking forward to your upcoming videos.
Dude!!! Bringing back memories! I had one of these but a 1991. With that same 22re 4cyl. Thing had absolutely no power but it was great off-road.
Oh Man I have had Toyotas for over 15 years and bought them in pretty rough shape (I flip them), one thing I would recommend to all who get cars like this that have been sitting outside is to check the wiring and with a knife split and check the end of the wires, i had some issues with that and when checking the wires were full of corrosion inside and looked ok from the outside, it causes horn, lights, starting issues, hazard and turn signal issues, so if you see one or two wires full of corrosion, try to get a healthy harness from a junk yard and you wont regret it, usually these cars have their known issues easy to repair but corrosion is almost present in all of them if they seat outside when its moldy. Good detail :) thx for sharing
A-MA-ZING. Excellent job. Worth the wait.
Welcome back my friend and what a great transformation, just like one of your first videos, the subaru and the ford lighting
Man I used to put those striping kits on in the early 90’s. Takes me back I love these trucks. Sharpline was the name of the company that made those kits. They rarely lasted that long. That was neat to see one in such good condition. I also had an 86 p/u 2wd. My favorite vehicle ever. I love the pull style parking brake

Nice memory about "Sharpline". In the late '70's/early '80s we had a regional(?) company called "Trimline Design" if I remember correctly. My memory is that they prepped many/all the new Toyotas/Hondas etc before the dealers presented the vehicles for sale. They did great work.
You are probably the best detailer on KZread man. I love your videos!

It’s because they use the advice of Detail Geek.
You killed this detail. Good job buddy it turned out so nice! Now that truck has plenty of life left in it!!!
This was an awesome restoration. Literally a night and day difference.
It’s been awhile since I’ve even his impressed by someone. You are amazing at what you do. I couldn’t stop watching.
Great work , also shows how good Toyota material holds up over time . If that were a neon your hand would go through the dashboard!
Good video! I love this generation of Toyota Pickup, and you made it look pretty much new again! Also, the Bissel is a good machine for the price.
Amazing job on that! Doesn't even look like the same truck! WOW!
First of all, I am so jealous, because that is the very truck that I have always wanted, but never have bothered to buy. Second, of all the OCD restoration or detailing videos I have watched this is certainly one of if not the best. Lastly, my sister has a Toyota 4-Runner that’s pushing 400 K but it’s in excellent condition. If I manage to get my hands on it, I’m gonna give you a call to detail it 😂. Keep up the good work, I can’t wait to see your next vehicle!!!!!
Omg glad to see you back man! Love your work!
Awesome job!!! That’s one quality built truck 💪🏻
Those tacomas are becoming collectible. It's amazing how well they were made. Nice job rescuing thar one

Nice to see you back to the present the Back to The Future Marty McFly pick-up. Blue one, but the same one.
for the rusted seat bolts, next time you may wanna try sea foams deep creep. it's a great penetrating oil that will break loose stuff like that in no time.

Add to how good this product is on dump trucks hauling asphalt the lug nut can get coated due to driver error or shit happens but it does a great job penetrating through the asphalt and on to the lug nut and stud still not as fast as a torch but seafoam deep creep throq kroil in the trash sea foam ftw
I love these old Toyotas, I was gonna get one before I became fond of LS400s.

Love the detail. Please more Tacos please 🙏 🛻 💭 ❤
WOW WOW WOW
I parked an old white Volvo wagon in my buddies yard in southeast. Within 2 years it looked a bit mossy. Personally I liked the look.
Nice work I did 2 complete 379 Peterbilts with bunks with a Bissell spot machine they do a great job just takes a little longer
“Barn find” implies it was parked indoors lol great work 👏🏽
Welcome back!
glad to see you back my guy but what the hell are you doing in Alaska!
Güzel olmuş
This is such a PNW truck, I see these things driving around here (WA) all the time. Moss and all. What PSI is your pressure washer? Always interested in how much damage one can do depending on PSI.
welcome back 🙏 😍 we miss you so much I was very worried about you 😘👍, if you work good in your channel u will be famous
Love Toyota
Sick detail bro 👌. Good video. Gonna try some of your tips on my toyota pickup.
Welcome back man. Will you be making more videos soon?
bruh these trucks are pretty solid aside from that headgasket issue of them 3.0 engines.. a 5vz 3.4 is the perfect engine for this truck.
What extractor are you using for the soap in the carpet? I can’t find it in the description
8:56. Oh cool it has Australian Made driving lights on it.
thanks you, your good. whats the brush on the end of your drill please? safe journeys
After using penetrating oils, Try using vise grips on the seat bolts. It might be slow but it works.
Buena base para hacer un restomod ,y hacerla como la Toyota de regreso al futuro, negra con los faros auxiliares des carita sonriente de kc en la barra de techo
A shame at what these Trucks Cost in 2024.. awesome detail Job.👻
Same as my old toyota 4x4 extra cab sr5 black stick 5 speed shift on fly 4x4 radio has cassette deck i put custom power antenna keep limbs brake off antenna just turn off
