This game made become FSU football fan I love bobby Bowden when he coach FSU I was glad when he finally won his first national title in 1993 r.i.p. coach

This game still haunts me. Nebraska won this game and should have had a 3-peat.

1:56:55 the announcer insults the Big 8 and their running attack 'it just doesn't work'. Oklahoma has beaten Florida State six times with no losses with their running attack. Switzer was a better coach.

I like the Sooners also. But once FSU and Miami got rolling in the early 80s both Nebraska and OU were dominated by Miami and FSU. I realize FSU dropped some to OU but Miami thoroughly beat OU in 85, 86, 87 totally shutting down the wishbone. Ou lost only 3 games in 3 years, all to Miami. Nebraska was hapless against both FSU and Miami till mid 90s after Switzer was gone.

This set the stage for Nebraska’s dynasty, the greatest dynasty in college football history from 93 through 97/60 and 3 they should’ve won all five national championships. They missed it by the bounce of a ball two times or they would’ve won all five national championships in a row Most dominant stretch I’ve ever seen from a team in a sport was what they did those next five years and they realized in this game, even though they lost that they could beat Florida State. I know they lost, but if you watch this game, they realize there’s no difference between us. They just made some mistakes or whatever, but it could easily went the other way and then the next year they played them for the national title. The only reason Florida State cause of penalties Nebraska totally dominated the game bad calls and penalties cost Nebraska the title 93 and then 94 9597. They win the national championship95 the greatest team to ever step foot on a college football field.
