Final year for this bodystyle that was started in 1972. They are still a great looking truck that has never become dated. The instrument panel only changed one time during all those years (in 1980) I know one original owner who's had his 1973 since new (cars and trucks don't rust in desert dry Arizona) Yours still looks brand new under the hood. Nice !! My boss at the time had a '92. Almost exactly like yours except it was a gas engine. He passed in 1994 and one of his sons still has it now.

Twice! The instrument panel changed twice. By 79 it was 3 pieces and the left side had 4 gauges (small & odd sized) the right side had No gauge (s).
