People are complaining about the bathroom, but I looooveeee the shower idea. The fact you don’t even have to set up much is nice!

Yeah it honestly works a lot better for us. There's nothing like a hot outdoor shower. It's also important for us to not have the interior so cramped because its our work space as well as living space

You guys nailed the layout. Really like the archway into bedroom and the shower outside is the way to go

Well done Luke and Jess. It was nice to see a fresh and young approach to a Coaster conversion, compare to the majority out there on the road. It does look classic and functional at the same time... Being a full time nomad, I do enjoy when I see Australians doing exquisite conversion such as this one... Love it...

Lord JDM is the best! These Toyota coasters and damn fine machines so pretty love what y'all done. If I was a millionaire, I'd never have an hour away from projects like this!

I’ve probably watched this video a dozen times. One thing that got my attention was the “no more gaps.” I wasted so much money on that stuff. My airstream has around a 1000 rivets. One of my jobs was putting a dab of the stuff on every rivet and then a beading of the stuff on the inside of the frame. I found out later that the stuff ain’t waterproof. Now I have the crappy job of scraping it all off and replace it with sikaflex, which is the only thing you should use with anything that moves. I love your layout. The only thing I’d add is an arch doorway at the cab to separate the engine room from the living area. What a life. Happy safe travels…

Hey that’s awesome and thank you for watching. Yeah the no more gaps doesn’t like the constant moving and twisting of the bus. The extra archway would only work if we didn’t have the second row of seats but it felt separate enough when we were in the living area. Cheers

I think this is the best conversion i have ever seen. The Arch on the doorway and the drawers beneath the bed are so cool. It just seems like everything is super high end and so well made.

This bus is really 1 of my favorites. The arch to the bedroom is nice and the colors are nice and I love it all actually.

Really nice looking vehicle. American busses are kind of boring looking. To each his own but I would definitely have had an indoor bathroom. I think I would have sacrificed the closet space for s bathroom. But it is beautiful. You did a great job! Vaya con Dios!

Thank you! We have had a few different set ups over the years, our first having a full ensuite and we found that as nice as it was it wasn't a necessity for us!

I constantly get blown away by the exceptional builds people create when converting vans or buses. Yours is another wonderfully designed conversion with great taste and attention to detail. Well done ... your bus build is spectacular. Thank you for sharing and inspiring me and plenty of others too, no doubt. Nice to see Australasian alternatives to the ubiquitous, but unavailable here in NZ, typically super-cheap smorgasbord of “decommissioned “ yellow school buses all those lucky Americans have access to ... and that we drool over ... !

Yes a toilet is a must, we have one we just hid that well we forgot to film it haha. It’s under one of our seats.

I’m guessing you guys live in the coaster full time. Seriously loving the arch. It’s the first one that I’ve seen thus far. It’s a definite must in my build. I live in Perth and i reckon Toyota’s are the way to go. Thanks for the awesome tour. Stay safe on the roads… 🍃☮️🍃

Yeah I was wondering if you'd kept it under 4.5T, particularly when looking at your bedroom arch wall! Another downside of a heavy vehicle licence is you can't have a drink - you must be 0 blood alcohol. A deal-breaker for a camper, unless you're a tee-totaler. 😄

Our toilet is inside the bus, one of our seats lifts up on hinges and the toilet is in there for those night time emergencies 😉
