Here's Volume 1 in a series of 1992 Old Skool Hardcore mixes I've done, digging out tunes I used to play at Raves back then, when I used to go by the DJ name Dark Fader. I’m 54 years old this July and even though I have not been to a club since about 2012 (Chunnel club Vauxhall) which I had a wicked time i now enjoy staying in having a great time with some white and old skool playing.
Faydz keep the 80/90s coming it’s all I listen to as I’m stuck in time in 89. And I’m still loving it bless
I went to London for a week in '91. Went to a rave. Next thing, --its 1993. Great days. Great people. Great tunes.
I’m 50 now and miss the rave seen so much 👍 I lived for raves in the late 80/90s and just love the tunes ❤️

Same as that 53 now and love this music mrs doesn't understand it as she was a pub girl f#@k that shit give me a warehouse full of happy ravers anyway over that I miss them days so much just a boring married man now where did it all go

@@stevetubb2188 I feel you on this. Nothing will ever come close to the days of underground/after hours. This was a once in a life time experience that will never be repeated. I am DJ Marco and only later to have the stage name DJ Mad Chemist. 53 now and I ask myself where did those days go... Bumpin' and Jumpin' keep the vibe alive!

Some years ago I & my bf ate some shrooms and listened to this mix, it was an awesome trip. We literally saw the music and we didn't know if were alive or dead but we were so happy seeing all those colors & things :D I love oldschool rave music. It gets me high even when I'm 100% sober.

To the lads and lasses weren't it good now look ,absolutely rubbish I'm 53 now and still listen to this music as it sets me free,keep stomping all you who remember you know who you are respect everyone take care.
There's no doubt 92/93 gave us an amazing era of sound. I became hooked in 1986 with Farley Jackmaster, along with Frankie Knuckles and this led to the new sound that we all loved through the late 80's and 90's. With the exception of Acid and Jungle, I would say the evolution of this music led to music inspiration for a generation. No other sounds like it. For me the summer of love 1989 filled me the best sound ever. Amazing mix - my brain is in love with my ears for this wonder called house music.

Brilliant mix, the beginning of this mix still fills me with smiles and gooseberries, I still remember that starting track as being a banger back in the early 90s, the Fantazia days. I still get a rush of energy when I hear these tunes, and then I realise that it was yesterday. Well......at least we was a part of it, well some of us was. It's better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all.....and bwoy did I love strongly and with passion.

great song from the 90s era, I don't know why they stopped doing these mass events if it was the hell they supported hardcore, old skool, breakbeat and house, they shouldn't have been allowed to sleep because there are only electronic, minimal etc. festivals.

Where did it all go ay? I mean wtf happened? I'm almost 45 and the fliers are long disappeared, the party mad ravers have all gone home, the music has stopped and all that is played seems alien to my ears.....oh well, I got our lass and my spliff to keep me company, and the long lock down lol. Rock n roll, Mowtown, Northern soul, Ska, indie, etc etc none of them have died i think this era was even bigger than most globally due to the size of the population not to mention how good the music is or was i love listening to this decade i can relate to D j Faydz style as i was djing the same at the time but never had the break Carl Cox Stu Allen styly 4 deck massives still makes me shudder from head to toe 👍👍👍👍
Listening to the start of this takes me back to my first experience of raving and an early fantazia tape, the best days of the rave scene, top tunes and a good memory jog 👍🤪

hard to put into words mate it was something else a way of life. if you enjoy listening to all of this music nuff respect. there is alot of groups on facebook dedicated to the era plenty of storys on there

Bit late lads but 88 to 93 was the best years of my live legends every Thursday for hard house and Saturdays for piano house it's just the love in all of those night clubs all u need is a couple of doves and u r happy. Legends and love shack warrington and Blackpool.
