I appreciate OJ stepping out of his comfort zone and taking a stab as an interviewer.

THE JUICE should have won back to back HEISMAN trophies in 1967 and 1968.

Yeah,he may have but he definitely wasn't the best player in the nation, let alone on the University of Miami team!

He seemed such an articulate gentleman. How bad he doesn't enjoy all the privileges that come with being an athlete/celebrity. The personality of OJ prior to 94 and after are so distinct.

He got the privilege of getting away with Murder. Seems pretty good to me.

This was taken out of context. He wasn't denying his blackness, but rather saying that he doesnt want to be DEFINED by his blackness. He wanted to be seen as an individual, a great player, etc... and NOT someone who had to make decisions or be a spokesperson for blackness. There are flaws with that thinking, but it still isn't the same as him denying being black. Of course he knew he was black. He married a black wife, had 3 black kids and grew up in the projects with a BLACK family and black friends.

Torreta is easily the worst Heisman ever, even worse than Troy Smith
