This replay is insane! I never expected that such levels of memory manipulation were possible in a normal run. I was only aware of the 2up on stage 3-1 and 1up on stage 7-1, what the hell. This could prove to be a good study when going for a 1cc with Arthur.
I don't know why but watching the Level Up system in this was genuinely so cool to me, what a cool idea to implement for a beat-em-up arcade game.

I have two questions. -Why don't take the 2UP that you can obtain of food? Does that ruin the calculations or something similar? -Does the level-up system really raise character stats? All the material I'm looking for about it says the same thing as the guide and the demo of the game, but no one clarifies if it goes up with each level, only with equipment changes, or if it's just aesthetic, if you know more detailed information I would appreciate it very much.

he is manipulating the RNG to get all the life ups and level ups possible. I think he may be playing with external aid to to see the internal number a know exactly how many jump with the horse he need to make before breaking the barrels in some section.

That actually requires the player has good memory and calculations in their mind. So basically, our characters or enemies making certain moves, the internal number will change. So the play making moves to calculating in his mind, finally attacking treasures then the treasure will turning out becomes up or staff. Anyway, the player has to know the game deeply and knows the system’s internal number’s knowledge, on top of that, need to be good at math
