ストーリー:
剣と魔法で邪悪なモンスターと闘ったマジカルファンタジー「ゴールデン アックス」。その物語が伝説になった時代に、またもや不気味なモンスターたちが地上を支配しようとしていた。スタンブレード、ドーラ、ゴア、リトル･トリックスの4人の戦士は、人々を苦境の中から救うために、新たなるヒーローとして闘いに挑もうとしていた。彼らの活躍で、再び世界は平和を取り戻せるか。

Like it's legendary prequel, 1989's "Golden Axe"; 'Revenge' is sideways scrolling beat-em-up set in a traditional fantasy world, in which the evil 'Death Adder' has arisen to take over the lands. The game supports simultaneous four-player gameplay, with each player taking on one of the game's characters. The four available characters are 'Sternblade' (a barbarian warrior), 'Dora' (a female centaurian), 'Goah' (a giant with a dwarf sitting atop his shoulders) and 'Little Trix' (an agile, oriental-style warrior).

This is the best Golden AXE game of the trilogy series.

It's a shame Sega never tried to port this to the Sega Saturn. It's a great game and the Saturn REALLY needed stuff like this in the US.

@@broomxing8865 Because they jumped on the SF2 bandwagon and made their own fighting game based on Golden Axe instead of porting this game.
Great playing of a game I loved back in the days of simple yet fun games. They never had a chance dealing with you.
You got my attention. But you know this game still deserves a console port!

he lost his little buddy :( nice gameplay i like that he was saving up his magic potions for death adder i remember playing this game back in the day it took me $5 dollars in quarters to beat this game

Pitchfork guy stabbing the barbarian in the junk and elbowing the giant in the junk at the same time, while the bottomless centaur girl is cheering. CLASSIC.
I noticed some of these sound effects were from Rambo First Blood. 1. Enemy Death scream (1:42 )= Rambo stabbing Mitch in the forest. 2. Death Adders fall ( 33:50 )= Galt falling out of the helicopter.

Yes most of them are from movies. Most from Conan The Barbarian & Conan The Destroyer. Where the woman screeches Yaaaaaaaaaa that is Grace Jones character in Conan The Destroyer where she tries to fight Wilt Chamberlain's Bombata character.

Yep. Sad that he dies in this game though, albeit returns in Golden Axe III as a spirit guide however.

Here is something you didn't know, you can walk across the broken bridge when riding one of those beast, you can walk on the high cliff straight when riding the beast, don't bring the joystick down you will fall over😂 no really you will, you can walk across the dungeon holds when riding the beast, you however cannot walk across the chop down tree in the forest cliff nor the squid pop up in the ship with any beast😨

If you play the full game you can get the top rank. I have gotten the top rank on a 1cc run with Trix on an actual arcade machine.
The gard is sleeping in wood bad
many of enemies have snoring problem.
