1991 Specialized Rockhopper Bike Restoration and Drop Bar Conversion - Built For My Wife With Love

Years ago, my wife had an 80's Mongoose mountain bike that was stolen out of her apartment storage room. She always wanted a similar bike but we never got around to finding one. I was in the market for a project recently and we found this 1991 Rockhopper for $80 in her size on Craigslist. I decided to fully restore it for her and convert it to drop bars for the gravel trail riding we do. Enjoy!

Pretty sure that cable was not intended for bicycles. Haha. Probably a botched repair from the early 2000s.
