Peugeot 205 introduced in 1983 was a game changer for the French car manufacturer who was till that moment associated with rather conservative way of designing cars (mostly bigger sedan cars). The development on the new model started in 1978, the same year when Peugeot took over another French car maker: Simca known for more modern car designs. The production of this model ended in 1998 when the successor 206 was introduced.
Car tested in today’s episode is a 1.4 liters, 75 hp model with rather basic equipment on board. Regardless of that it's original condition: only 125 000 km (~77600 miles) on the clock, very tidy and original interior, great mechanical shape and just some cosmetic problems on the bodywork allow You to experience the real and original 1980's motoring in its full glare.

Dream car for real
Great to see such a well maintained 205, and despite being today "obsolete" some real car enthusiasts enjoy this model a lot. Even a basic 1.1 or 1.7D can be fun, in the middle of all those boring clones huge SUVs and EVs. I own two 205s (one is being restaured now), and every journey with it puts a smile on the face.

This 1.4 Gr was my 1st car. This is the best car I've ever owned. I want to like the video but it's currently at 205 ...

No problem at all to keep up with thentrafic. I love the A pillars being so smooth. Meaby not so save outside the city still in city trafic you are aplble to see everything much better!

Dzięki za suba i tak jest bardzo fajny i nie odbiega za bardzo właściwościami jezdnymi od nowoczesnych aut. Będą też auta na moim kanale, których prowadzenie to walka z materią.

Fajny egzemplarz. Szkoda że nie ma dachu otwieranego. Tak to byłby ideolo do miasta. Silnik w wersji z wtryskiem mam w Peugeocie 306. Da się lubić ten silnik.

Jeden z sympatyczniejszych samochodów jakie testowałem. I dość trudno u nas znaleźć wersję inne niż z silnikiem podstawowym.

In Europe mainly stupid "ecology" that makes the car makers to produce cars that are just a little more clear but causes the car to be not worth repairing after few years. No one calculates the production and disassembly costs for the environment.
I jak sprawuje się Peugeocik? :) Myślę nad jego zakupem po zdaniu prawa jazdy (w wersji właśnie benzynowej). I teraz pytanie: jaka jest najkorzystniejsza cena takiego pojazdu do jazdy na co dzień? Z góry dziękuję za odpowiedź. Pozdrawiam ;)

Hej, samochód niestety nie jest mój. Ten został sprzedany za ok 4500 i patrząc na ogłoszę ia jest dużo tańszych ofert ale wydaje się że warto dorzucić aby kupić w lepszym stanie. Patrzyłbym na stan blacharski i ogólny silnika. Reszta jeśli masz smykałkę i chęci raczej do ogarnięcia. A wrażenia z jazdy bardzo fajne. Dynamiczny, dobra widoczność i klimat lat 80.

Ciekawy też jest golf 2 ale wydaje mi się że ceny są nieco wyższe za porównywalny stan. Ten który mam na jednym z moich filmików poszedł za 1500. Jeździł ok, miał automat i gaz :). Nawet przeszlo mi przez myśl żeby go kupić ale aktualnie brakuje mi czasu na własne remonty.

@@michaskowronek2839 Tu fakt golf jest w miare popularny u nas. To z 205 powinieneś być zadowolony. Nie kupowałbym raczej podstawowego silnika bo ten 1.4 za fajnie jeździł żeby zrezygnować z pójemnosci. Jeśli jesteś z Mazowieckiego to daj znać co kupiłeś :)
