I was 11 years old when this race was on. It was the first NASCAR race purposely watched. My dad took me to an ARCA race just a few weeks earlier. I have been hooked ever since.

@@ethanweeter2732 Jimmie is not even 50 years old, but can't win for like 7 years already. And Harry countinued to be competitive and win even in his mid 50's. I'm sure, with a better equipment and with Andy Petree as a crew chief, Harry would be competitive even in his 60's if he chose not to retire.

Possibly a misinformed opinion here, but I think the Olds Cutlass may have been the best car in NASCAR around this time. They just didn't have the numbers that Chevy and Ford did.

possum is good if fixed rite. like a cartoon i saw long time ago. 2 frogs settin at a table eatin human legs. one said to the other go on. try it. it taste like chicken.

@@ixlr8677 Possums have worms in their stomach, you can get some type of bacteria, if you eat possum meat. I puked my guys out after I ate a Martinsville hotdog, I threw to other in the trash. I may as well set $12 dollars on fire. I saw other people through their Martinsville gut grenade in the garbage.
