@@kocampo86 I’ve never had the pleasure; even before I swapped in my 2JZ engine, my 7MGTE was original with the car and the AC never worked in my ownership of the vehicle.

@@Miguelsgarage No, it needs the front bumper pulled out (previous owner damage) and will need a new engine. It’s been sitting for 3+yrs in my garage. My 2JZGTE 88 Mk3 Supra’s diff let go on me during a 2nd gear power-slide; then a month later, it spun a bearing upon a very cold December startup in 2020….so it too sits now.

So beautiful!!!

I do not. You could certainly daily it, but I wouldn’t it.

16:00 Though riding with the Targa off is nice, I prefer a hardtop (chassis rigidity) Mk3 Supra; hence why I got a 1992 Mk3 Supra w/ a sunroof….it has rigidity and open top at the same time.

@@Supra1008 Yup - 91 and 92 are the best two years of the Mk3 Supras IMO (sunroof chassis types).

Yes, rigidity is an issue, but for this car being a daily capable car, it’s not the end of the world. I’m not a big fan of sunroofs. Adds a lot of weight at the very top and is almost never used anyways… hardtop for the win!!

I use sunroof everytime I drive. Best of both worlds and yes pics look cool too. I still miss that Targa though man.

How does it compare to your MR2?

There are some similarities certainly in construction, design, and even some of the parts. You can certainly tell they are both products of the same people. However, these two cars were built during different times. The Supra was designed in the late 70s/early 80s. The MR2 was designed in the late 80s... I think this has a big influence on they way they drive I think. The other key difference is the engine layout and size. The MR2 is mid-engine and MUCH lighter than the Supra and this is very noticeable. The Supra is much more comfortable, specially at high speeds. This is by design. The MR2 is more of a sports car, the Supra is more of a cruiser.
