In this video, I take you on a tour of my latest purchase, a 1989 GMC Suburban Square Body 3/4 Ton Diesel with the 4x4 option. This is my second purchase of the 7th Gen Square body in addition to my 1989 Chevy Suburban half ton. I will go over the exterior and all the overland upgrades, the interior and finally do some driving impressions. This rig will be built to an overland camper and in this video, you get to see it before any work gets done on it.

Good looking rig...looks like most of the issues you'll be facing are cosmetic only. I have a '95 4WD and the rear carpet was stained pretty badly and full of splinters from hauling plywood and lumber...I just removed the carpet, put down some sound deadening rubber tiles and a layer of thin insulation, and covered it with LVT flooring.
