In an age where almost every part could have been laser cut or 3D printed it’s awesome to see someone build this the old school way, making everything by hand. Excellent work!! Looks fantastic

​​@@Scknows Automation is very easy ,all do is put numbers into a computer and it does everything for you, nothing hard about it. This guy has old time proper skills and it's nice ta see. .. O and I this is from someone with 20 yrs in Aerospace industry. Hand shaping and finishing rotor blade and engine cowlings

With all that work, he should have made it into an electric radio control car, though.. put a camera in it and race it around like the drone folks do.. it'd be like racing in a video game but you don't get a reset button.

As a model builder and a Senna fan, thank you! That was one of the coolest projects I have seen in a long time. Congratulations, sir!

I'm a model builder too and love Tamiyas 1/12 F1 kits but 1/2 is a little too big for me!

Are you aware that Senna scored less points in 88 then his teammate? Senna is no where the best of all time, hes just pretty good around one lap

PS: Modelos 1/8 F1 impressos em 3D são vendidos por 9.000 dólares na Europa/EUA, então estou convencido de que pessoas ricas pagariam 25.000 dólares +++ por uma obra de arte 1:2 feita à mão como esta....Além dos fãs de F1 existentes na Europa, o esporte está ficando MUITO grande RAPIDAMENTE nos EUA.... Se você conseguir chamar a atenção das (muitas) pessoas ricas de lá, querendo uma obra de arte do carro/time de F1 que eles mais gostam? Você ficará rico sem dúvida - enquanto se diverte!

Shaping the tires, gluing the rubber in one shot, heating and shaping the windshield are things out of my reach. I would scrap tons of material if i wanted to succeed at this. Excellent work!!!

Sono un modellista e so cosa significa costruire un modello. In scala 1/2 diventa più semplice realizzare i pezzi senza doversi impazzire con la lente di ingrandimento ma bisogna ammettere che HAI FATTO UN LAVORO STUPENDO! Anche Senna da lassù ne sarebbe felice

This is utterly brilliant. I remember in the early 90's at the Goodwood Festival of Speed they had an auction of cars and memorabilia, including racing car parts. There was a near complete broken McLaren rear wing up for sale in Marlboro colours, with the tobacco name blanked out. It was unbelievably light, super strong but one finger liftable. Brilliant job, thank you for sharing.
